Love my otterbox! Carrying my phone at work the other day and it went flying out of my hand and flew right into the stone wall and bounced off and hit the cement floor. Normally this would cause a lot of damage to the phone but the otterbox saved it...

A bit bulky, but decent all-around protection for my phone

Without this case I probably would have had to buy multiple iPhones. My wife drops her phone constantly. Plus the kids throw it around like I get them for free. This case has saved me $$$$

I can't tell you how many cases and phone screens I have gotten for my daughter. Finally I stopped being cheap and bought her this case and she loves it and it loves my pockets because she hasn't had a cracked screen in forever... Knock on wood!

I had my first otterbox for years, dropped it multiple times and never got a scratch on my phone. Upgraded my phone and would not use anything else to protect it. Loving this product!

I have used otterbox for many years to protect my IPhone. Recently upgraded to iPhone 5S so needed a new case that would protect my phone and still allow me to use the fingerprint reading feature. This case is perfect. It fits well without adding too much bulk and includes a build in screen protector. It has a cut out over the fingerprint reader so that feature is still usable. I have found over the years that the otterbox defender cases hold up well to everyday wear and tear. The only complaint I have is that the rubber part tends to get stretched out over time so it slowly put surely separates from the hard case. It still does well protecting the phone but you need to consider re-investing (especially if you take the case on and off often) every year or two. Best deal is with price matching because this case is always on sale somewhere!!

This one is not water proof I knew that going into this purchase however the design allows for even light rain to seep under the screen cover around the home button and speaker. You have to remove the phone from the case to dry it. It will protect from impact and the belt clip is nice.

Fits good and has taken a couple drops without an issue

These cases are the best item to carry any cell phone in. Even if you are not a clutz, the Otterbox is an additional safety device for your cell phone. I would not have a cell phone without it being in an Otterbox.

Not truly tested yet. We've had a few drops and falls, but only one that "could" have hurt my iPhone (it didn't). My last case was a Lifeproof, which destroyed my phone...it broke to the point that my phone fell out of the case and shattered. The Lifeproof lasted a month before I had to poke out all the waterproof membranes because no one could actually hear me on the phone. The OtterBox so far I have had no connection complaints. It feels good in the hand. the compartments open and close well. So far it's a winner. If my phone lasts 2 years without breaking than I'll come back and edit my grade to a 6.

Bought this for my son's iphone and it has been great for him because he is kind of rough with his belongings. I don't have to worry about having to replace a phone because he has dropped it due to the ruggedness of the case.

This is a great case that takes on the abuse of everyday real life happenings. Oops! I dropped my phone. I don't know how many times I have to do that... Rrr! Good thing I have an otter box to save the day. Rugged, tough, grippy, colorful. This is my 4th OtterBox after wearing out the others on two other phones. 4, 4s and now 5s. Great product!

This is my 4th Otter Box starting way back with my first iPod. I dropped it and cracked the screen within a week. Bought an OtterBox Defender, and have done so with each new phone. I drop things a lot, and have not broken an iPod or iPhone since I started using the Defender. If you're clumsy like me, or have experienced cracked screens, the Defender is worth every penny. Only downside is that it makes the phone bulkier. For me, a small price to pay.

Case is great protection except for water but otherwise awesome

This is the best case there is for people who work outdoors or on the move constantly and have butter-fingers. I have dropped my phone many times and always know that this case is on high alert protecting my phone from my drops.

Bought this for my teenage son to replace another brand of case that literally fell apart. This one is much more durable. I expect this will hold up to the wear and tear from my son. Will only use Otter Box cases from now on!

This is one of the best iPhone cases I have ever used. I have dropped my phone several times without damaging it. Once from a distance of 12 feet. My friend was so impressed that he bought one for himself.

There's a reason Otterbox has been a leading phone case manufacturer for so long. They are the best at what they do. Great screen protection (you'll see how the screen protector takes a beating), nice grip (the newer Otterboxes seem less rubbery however), and good shock protection. And they are on sale more frequently than in years past. Can be pricey but does its job very well. I have only used the Defender model, and have been a repeat customer for this model many times over.
