Chose this case to protect my 10 yr old’s device. Incredibly durable. No worries about damage to his Touch. Had the identical case on his previous Touch. Holds up long term.

When I bought this product, I did not realise it contains a transparant screen integrated in the box, so there is no need to buy this separatedly.

Great case. Heavy duty. Comes with built in screen protector. IPod is totally incased and protected.

My husband is a clutz. He's constantly dropping his cell phone, iPod and anything in between. He bought this OutterBox for his iPod and it's already paid for itself several times over. He's dropped it too many times to count and the OtterBox has completely saved his iPod from damage. He always buys OtterBox for all of his handheld electronics/cellphones.

The Otter protection cover for the IPod is a recognized piece of professional merchandise that is important for every day use. It protects the IPod and has a nice adjustable wristband. It is black and has a rubbery feel and a non slip texture to complete this description. It feels a bit heavy, but that's it's protection volume in weight. I am happy with this simple but complex safety device. I give it five stars!

I've had my own Otter Box, and it was fantastic. I just bought one for my younger brother for his new iPod 5th gen. His Otter Box however was defective. Even when the case was on properly, air bubbles would show up whenever he touched the screen. Had to return it. I know Otter Boxes are a great product, just make sure to that it works.

All my electronics have Otter box cases. I love the security provided from these cases, especially the cover for the screen. Worth every cent I have paid for this and all Otter Box cases.

Otterbox is the way to go. Not too bulky and provides good protection for my ipod.

Love this case but screen gets dirty quickly but easy to clean and take off.

Although I have not personally tested the protection effectiveness of this case, I'd gather from other reviews that as far as protection, this case has that aspect covered. What I disliked was the screen protector sits above the touch surface. While this design choice does eliminate unsightly splotches that would invariably occur with having the protector in contact with the screen, this creates additional travel which makes the case a hindrance to use. I would recommend this case for those who prioritize protection over usage.

love the size its not to bulky and it does exactly what it is supposed to, protect my phone

We had bought an off brand protector for my son's iPod Touch, but within 6 months it started to crack. This has been rock solid and costs only a slight bit more than the off brand did. It took about a week for him to get used to the bulkiness of the ipod, but now he cannot imagine what he would have done without it. It has already survived multiple slips from about 3 feet high, and looks no worse for wear.

Awesome case! My 9 year old has had this case since May and not a scratch and looks like brand new, even with him playing with his iPod every day. Love Otterbox!

this is my first otter case. iI have broken lots of screens with other cases. This one has already saved my phones screen a few times.
