Without the protector, my ipod was prone to dropping because its finish was so smooth and fine that it would literally slip and fly out of my hand from the slightest gesture...but now, not only is the device protected, the case keeps it from slipping out of my hand. The wrist strap is useful as well. the screen protector keeps my ipod's surface from being scratched or worn, will still perfectly responding to tactile input. the case's bulky design contradicts apple's sleek, streamlined design, but it more than makes up for it with its functionality.

I got this item to protect my i pod touch. It protects as stated (I've dropped my player several times and all is well and crack free). I just wish there were more colors, for fun and to be able to see it in my bag. Function wish, it is a great product

You can’t go wrong protecting your phone in one of these. I have yet to need to repair anything damaged from dropping my phone.

I have used the Otterbox Defender cases for all my cell phones. I can't tell you how many times I have dropped my phones from 20 feet up or better. Luckily, the cases saved my phones. I figured if it does that good with my phones, it is a no-brainer to get one for my iPod Touch 128. Haven't really had a chance to use it yet, but have noticed that it is a little tougher to use the touch screen through the case cover, but it is something I can live with, Overall, I'd recommend this case for anybody that is hard on their personal electronics.

I liked this case very well, just one problem. I don't like how the buttons are too hard to press.

Bought this for my daughter's ipod. Since it goes everywhere with her, gets dropped, and who knows what else, we can say it works great at protecting the ipod! Unfortunately, Best Buy didn't have too many color choices at the time, so my daughter had to get black.
