While we test our products extensively to ensure the best security possible for devices, unfortunately, every situation is subject to unique circumstances, and we are unable to guarantee that all exposure to risk will be eliminated through the use of our products. Even though our warranty does not extend to the Apple device itself, we would very much like to offer your son a new OtterBox so that he can get a fresh start once his iPod has been repaired.
