I purchased this because I was told how great it is for protection. I purchased an iPod and sadly, we dropped it once and the case didn't protect it from breaking. It was an expensive fix to replace. In addition, the small pieces that cover the plugs have ripped off. I may still recommend the case just a bit dissatisfied.
