This case is just what I needed for protection for accidental drops. It was a bit challenging to put on, but after watching a you tube video it went on quickly. I thought the flap that the charge plug went through might wear out easy, but it has held up admirably.

Overall I recommend as the Samsung is not very durable given how think and light, by design. As such as durable case is appropriate just wish I could get as durable a case more light weight however, the light weight cases are not durable / protective enough for this phone

Otterbox is probably the best and most durable phone case, and this one did not disappoint. It protect the phone, and it is pretty lightweight. Only issue may be that it is a little tricky to remove, but once you figure it out, it becomes easy.

This case is both functional and nice in appearance. My daughter is very happy with this durable choice.

In classic OtterBox quality, this really seems to hold and shield the phone from all sorts of potential problems. Have to watch the size of the micro-USB charger because if the case is on, and the phone-side tip is too big, it will not seat int he charger properly. Ensure it is not any larger than the OEM cable; 3rd party cables still function just fine, not all fit with the inner snap case.

This case seems to provide good protection for my phone, which is why I purchased it. The case can be difficult to remove to access the memory card and and the screen doesn't ever seem to be totally clean.

Husband is very rough with phones so I needed something that would protect his smartphone and this one does the trick. Wish it would stay in the holster better though it has come out from time to time... my daughter has a platinum case and that holster has to be clipped apart... that would be the only feature that I wish could be added to otterbox to make it from superb to unbeatable.

Got my Defender after my last S4 had a dumbbell related mishap and decided that a $50 case was cheaper than another $100 insurance deductible. I love that it has an integrated screen protector, too since installing the soft plastic ones is always such a pain.

I brought this product to protect my phone. It do was it suppose to do. I am always dropping something and I did want to break my phone. It cost to much to replace a phone eventhough you have a replacement plan. Get the otterbox it does what it supposed to do.

When I got my s4 the first thing i got with it was an otter box, less then a year and i am now getting it replaced. They are tough little cases, though not as tough as I would have liked seeing as I am having to replace the last one. This one the rubber part fits more snug against the plastic part, but seems thinner. Hopefully this one will last longer than the last one I got.

I only used the case for about a week because I upgraded phones a week after purchasing but I already ordered another Defender for my new phone.

I selected the OtterBox because I had one for my previous phone which I found was very durable and protected my phone through tough conditions. This one is lower profile and less bulky and I hope that it proves to be just as durable as the previous model.

This otterbox phone case is great. It is very sturdy and durable for the price.

I bought the Defender series cover, because I watched someone who already had this cover on their phone, throw their phone 20 feet across the room. Then they gave it to me and the phone worked perfectly. How could I not recommend this cover for your phone.
