I had another cover for my phone and my purse zipper would set the phone off and ultimately use up my battery quickly every time I moved my purse or carried it. Then I was in the rain and it kept saying I had earphones on and I could not talk to anyone without earphones. My son told me to get this and it has been perfect! The protector on the front makes it stable and only I activate it now. It has a cover to keep rain or anything out of the earphone plug. IT IS THE BEST!! Defender is the right name for it and has helped me enjoy my phone instead of wondering if it will work or I can talk on it. Comes highly recommended.

Great case for Samsung S 4 phone. Provides three levels of protection. It is easy to put on and take off. I would feel secure Taking my phone anywhere with this case.

The case does what it is supposed to my phone stays protected it's been dropped a few times with no harm to my phone. Only thing is it us a bit bulky.

This Otterbox case is made so much better than the one I had for my Samsung 3. I love the quality and fit for my phone, and feel my phone will be safe in this case.

Every phone in our family has an Otterbox on it. They are great, I'm convinced they save us at least 1 phone replacement per year, paying them back easily. However, they're not infallible. We're finding at least a couple that are chipping at the edges and peeling (not sure what else to call it) on the back. Otterbox has been great about 1 replacement, need to do another one.

I'm a constructor and this case really protects my phone from scratches,dust,and water, good quality and durable. I definitely recommend it, and not expensive .

This is my husband's case. I love the color combination and it also has a clip on holster.The case has done a good job of protecting his phone at work, exercise and play. The silicone has already stretched some, but it is overall a good protective case.

This case offers great protection while creating minimal bulk. Mt 2 year old Grandson threw the phone to the floor and it survived with no problems.

An excellent full case protector that is expensive but of good quality and construction. Only drawback is charge card reader accessories -- like the square or those from other common vendors -- will not plug into phone fully unless the cover is removed

I would recommend the outter it protects your phone When u drop it and also from spills. It fits comfortable in your hand. The case can easily be cleaned.

This case was my ultimate favorite one! I had it forever until i had to retire it. I let it go not because it didnt work, but because it started peeling from the backside. I am pretty sure it was because of me that it started to peel and i just kept messing with it. I would def. buy this product again. It protected my phone more than i could ever imagine. It fell from my jeep a couple of times and tumbled down the stairs once and nothing happened to my phone! I have another case like this one, just different color. Great product.

it does the job but is a bit bulky for it to not be water-proof

Heavy duty protection. Screen protector allows it to be used without second piece. A little large for some pockets, and I am still awkward about opening it to answer. I picked camo with safety orange--this may not be your choice ;-)

I love that the otter box gives me added protection of my on phone. I don't like that it makes it bulky and heavier. It seems like the sides of the case need to be a tad smaller for easier screen shots and access to side tabs.
