We have never had a single phone damaged with these cases. I will keep using otter boxes as my first line of protection for my phones.

The only thing I don't like is that I can't retrieve my phone one handed. I guess i cold pull the whole clip thing off and answer my phone, but that would look really bad!!

We’re glad that the Defender is taking care of your Galaxy S6. We were not trying to make it a hassle for you to get to your phone but rather make sure that it was secure and wouldn’t take any unnecessary drops or get lost. It is possible to release the phone with one hand by detaching one corner and then the second corner and then pulling the rest of the case/phone out of the holster. It doesn't slide into your pocket real well and plugging in the power cord can sometime be a pain, but my phone in protected.

I have never had a phone damaged which was dropped or bumped while enclosed in an Otter Box. They are extremely durable.
