Excellent protection but definitely bulky. The plastic screen cover is annoying. Make sure to price match because the price marked is way overpriced.

I had one of these cases for my S6 and provided ultimate protection for the phone. Through drops, scrapes and scratches the case protected the phone every time. Even though the case is not water proof, because of how snug the case fits to the phone, it did protect the phone from getting soaked during a quick dip in the pool one time. So it was automatic that when I acquired the S7 that I purchase a defender case for it. The only con is how far off the hip the phone and holster sits, it seems to catch on things as I walk by, I guess the price you pay for 360 degrees of protection.

All my phones have these and they work. I have been using these for years on all the phones starting with a S7 I have yet to get a cracked screen from the numerous drops I have put it through. I work in a shipyard environment which is pretty harsh. Dont care for the new style on my note 10+ without the screen protector had to pay extra to get that. I guess they got away from that. Screen protector people must have made a deal with them to spread the wealth LOL.

If you don't purchase an Otterbox for your cell phone, Ipad, etc you will be taking an unnecessary risk. The protection that the Otterbox gives is amazing especially if you drop your phone a lot. I feel secure that my phone, etc is safe.

These cases sre absolutely awesome. The all-in-one encasement of the phone creates a positive sense of security. Drop it, bang it or fling it. The phone is protected. The screen protection is great. 2 years afterwards and still clear

Otter Box Defender Cases are just thick enough on the edges to keep the phone glass off surfaces so as to avoid scratches. Sturdy case. I haven't tried any drop tests. But the surface gives you a secure grip of your phone.

I've used one of these same cases for my Samsung S5 for over 5 years & even after being dropped on concrete a couple times, the phone still looks brand new out of the case. Hence why I got another one for my Samsung S7.

I have tried to order multiple other cases to see if I liked any besides the Otterbox. None have come close to the quality of the Otterbox. It is the best. It protects your phone against many elements especially drops.

I've used other cases. I still have a collection of broken phones to prove it. The OtterBox Defender case has protected this and three other phones through numerous falls. Although OtterBox has an excellent screen protector attached to the case, I now put a glass screen protector on my phones and take the transparent screen cover off of the case. I don't know if this voids the OtterBox warranty, but my goal is ultimate protection while maintaining perfect visibility and touch screen functionality.

I have bought an Otterbox for my previous phone and love it. My clip broke on my last phone and the service to have it replaced was easy. Provides great protection for the phone and customer service if anything happens to it.

It's an Otterbox, it does the job and protects the phone. This one is one of the top notch ones so it does the trick. The issue is with the screen protector, you need to pop that open and get a Zagg Glass on it or it will drive you crazy because it won't be responsive on your phone. Trust me, have the Best Buy guys put the case on there for you and pop off that lame screen that comes with this Otterbox and spend the extra bucks on getting a Zagg Glass on it, you'll be a lot happier.

This is a pretty good case for your S7 in my opinion. I feel like the phone is protected and secure. The color is nice as well. Not so keen on the screen protector so removed that and just added my own protector directly on the device. The issue I have comes with the use and wear of the product down the line. Removing the outer rubber to open the case and taking the phone out can be a bit of work but that’s not the issue. Do it many times over the course of 1 year and the rubber is stretched out and loose. It no longer fits correctly As it once did. It leaves the case exposed and it just doesn’t feel good or look nice.

This product is excellent for me because my hands shake and sometimes they don't have a good grip on anything. So, this is perfect, since I don't want to drop an expensive item like a cell phone.

Best grip and est all around protection only negative is the screen gets scratched up quickly but u can take it off

Great size for hands and easy on and off for cleaning and protect phone well and love belt clip big and easy to use

I have this on my work phone and it travels with me so its been dropped many time in parking lots and equipment yards if not for the OtterBox - Defender Series Case my phone would be broken.

I've used these since my S4. It's designed to be heavy duty. it's not a dainty light case Pros It's protects the edges and back very well. Built in screen protector means no sticking protectors to your screen Easy to clean Rugged Cons Weight - Case and clip on are heavy Size - Protection is thick and adds weight to the phone Clip on case is bulky and can be a pain Difficult to open if you have to remove the phone.

My last Otterbox saved my previous phone numerous times including a multiple corner cartwheel across a gas station parking lot. I have confidence that this one will also save my phone when clumsiness occurs. The only frustration I have is the membrane over the home button. Most of the time, the fingerprint reader does NOT work. It is irritating to have to type a pin almost every time. I’m considering cutting the membrane out to see if the fingerprint reader works without it. Of course this will void any warranty and probably allow dirt into the case. Won’t effect structural strength tho so I might go for it.
