Great protection in a beautiful color when not many products were available yet. Loses a star for no glass screen protector included.

Does protect for the most part, but my screen still gets scratched. I'd advise to get a screen protector in addition to defender. Expensive phone and case to only do half the job of previous models. Kinda disappointing because I only buy defenders. I expected complete protection, same I have gotten with previous models. This does NOT protect screen from scratches. Does protect screen against drops, however.

After reading all the reviews and seeing everyone whining about how there's no screen protection, I still bought it. This case does a few things well that I really like. 1) it juts out just enough over the screen, that if I set my phone upside it rests on the case and not the screen 2) it has great drop protection 3) the edge feature still works like a charm. The case didn't hinder any experience at all.

Always choose Otterbox cases when it came to phone protection. The only complaint is the lack of the plastic cover for the screen.

Very protective for a case. Has good grip and looks nice. Makes my phone look brand new.

This case is thin like the phone and has done it's job after a few minor drops on very hard surfaces. I had an Otterbox for my previous Motorola that lasted well over two years so I know will last. What's really nice is my screen is protected while in transit (not screen protector, but clip cover will protect in bags or on belt no matter how hard it is bumped). Phone is too expensive to not protect.

I will always have an Otter box case on my phone! I love the fact they are so durable. They are worth every penny. I love the contrast of the blue against the gray.

These cases have proven over and over that they are the best. I am disappointed that it does not have a screen protector though.

Otter Box continues it's great quality in cases. Fits great, and really easy to put on.

OtterBox is one of the best smart phone protection cases made, and when I saw it was on sale at Best Buy for half off regular price, it was a no brainer. A day later, I was in another Best Buy store to see if they had the same price. They did. Another customer asked me what I thought a good case was, and I told him about the OtterBox one. He bought it on my recommendation. You're Welcome Best Buy!!!

Just upgraded my phone from a Samsung 5 to an 8. The Samsung reps have been great at helping me settle in with all the new features. Better than Verizon reps.

It does not add a ton of bulk like most phone protectors and is still very protective

This is my third Otterbox, so I'm familiar with their quality. I have not dropped my Galaxy S8+ yet, but I dropped my Galaxy S4 several times from at least waist high and never had any damage. So, I assume that the current model will provide the same protection. The reason for the one star demotion is that this one did not come with a screen protector, unlike my previous two. I understand that the curved screen is the problem, but other companies have solved the problem, so why can't Otterbox?

This is a solid phone case, easy to use phone. Dropped phone twice and it landed on the back and kept the screen scratch free
