The case works well, however does not protect the screen face. This has not been a problem for me so far. Only downside I have with this purchase is - the Best Buy store had only a few options for my cell phone Samsung 8+. Did not appear to be stocked on the shelves. When I asked an associate for help- he simply waved to the area I was looking and told me "This is all we have - take a look" then he walked off The case is fine - The store's Service - Not so Much....

I wanted a durable phone case for my new phone. I had one on my previous phone and decided I wanted the same brand as before. It is worth a little more money over the more flexible case on the shelf. This case is sturdy and I love the color choices. This case is working well so far. It keeps the phone from slipping out of my hands as well. I recommend it for anyone buying a Samsung S8 plus phone.

I love these cases.. durable, strong, and easy to put on. The only problem I don't like is the lack of a screen protector.

I love the Otterbox Defender because it provides THE BEST protection for my phone AND gives me a clip on for when i am walking my dog and need both hands free. That being said, all that protection is a bit bulky so I also have a slimmer Otterbox Symmetry Sleek Protection case so I can put the phone in my purse. I move between the two cases based on my needs and like (and recommend) both cases.

I have had numerousotter Box cases before and have always been excellent products. Got this one for my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. Same great quality.

The case offers great protection from drops, other than one that impacts the screen. There is no cover for the screen included. The case is a bit heavy; it feels like the case weighs about the same as the phone itself (Samsung S8+). The case allows me to still use the edge display of the S8+, which was a primary objective of getting it. I recommend this case for my new Samsung.

While riding my motorycycle on the 1st day with my new Galaxy S8+ my phone fell and landed screen down in the middle of the road where it was immediately ran over by another motorcyle with 2 people onboard. I expected to be picking up the pieces of my brand new phone but the Otterbox saved it from any damage and only suffered tire tread marks on the soft outer shell. Amazing!
