This is without a doubt the best cover for your phone. My wife lost her phone she thought, it was found 6 months later covered in mud from being outside. I took the cover off and the phone looked new and worked perfectly after a full charge. The only cover to buy.

Makes phone bulky and doesn't come with front case shield to Protect from scratches and very hard to get off.

Having used an OtterBox Defender with my previous IPhone, I wanted to protect my new Galaxy 8+. with the same product. Not only does the case provide excellent protection (although without a cover), but Best Buy matched the online price for the OtterBox and saved me $37. I couldn't be happier.

I was close to my contract renewal date (a couple of months out) and decided to go from an S6 Edge+ to the S8+. A good case is always a concern, but not so much for style as protection. I have always preferred a belt clip/holster style case, as I never seem to have enough pockets for a phone this size. On my S6 Edge+, I used a Buddibox belt clip/holster style case and it was very satisfactory for my use. When I got my phone at BB, I got several accessories also, and the Otterbox is a very highly rated cover for protection. My BB Verizon rep, Niko, installed the phone into it for me. It's Black and grippy and tightly embraces the phone. So much so, I had to watch a youtube video to find out how to remove the phone from it! Very "industrial." If you remove the belt clip and put the phone into it backwards, it morphs into a "kickstand" to allow landscape viewing of videos. Very neat! No, it doesn't have liquid and "glitter" in it and look chic, but it WILL protect my phone. If you're like me, this is the H2 of cases.

We use Ottowbox defender series on several devices including phones and iPads. Never had any problems.

The Otter Boxes are always great as far as protection & appearance go. But this style does not allow me to use the wireless charger without removing the case which will eventually stretch out the cover..I usually just unplug the cord from the back of the charger & plug it in the bottom port of the phone.

I was worried that this case would be too bulky as I often carry my phone in my pocket instead of with the clip that is included. Though it is larger than my old phone case, I love it. I've already dropped my phone more times than I care to admit and the case (and phone) don't show any evidence.

My Defender phone case is very aesthetically pleasing with its color, and very functional with the clip attachment. I am very active, so when it is not convenient to carry my phone, I clip it to my Swiss Army back pack, and make it easy for me to carry all the things we need for modern living.

I remember back when I got my first phone and the big Otterbox case for it. I am happy to see that Otterbox now has more slimmer cases that still offer a great amount of protection. I also enjoy that this particular case on the Galaxy S8+ also does not cover much of the front part of the phone, making it a lot easier to find compatible screen protectors.

This is my 3rd otterbox case. I had the s4 and the note 4. With the othere two phones, the cases made the phones seem bigger than they were. This case is slinder. This case does not have the plastic screen protector. All in all, i like this case better because of how the phone fells in my hands.

Good quality product but way over priced and it's bulky

It is a little bulky but worth it! It definitely lives up to its name.

The rubber on these cases gets soft after a few months going in and out of the belt clip. Having plastic contacts for the parts that touch the belt clip would help. Protection is great, it's saved my phone many times, but plug covers are awkward. A little overpriced considering the level of protection offered by so many other cases at 1/2 the price.

IT DOES WHAT IT SUPPOSE TO DO. it doesn't cover up any buttons you need to use for the Galaxy S8+

I really do like OtterBox defender series, except that this time for the Samsung Galaxy S8/ S8 Plus it comes without the shield protector that usually comes with any other phone. Otherwise this would be perfect. Still love it's durability.

Upgraded from S5 to S8plus, the screen change provides greater display. Camera is really awesome.
