This is a very protective, sturdy case. All the phone's functions work well with this Otter box Defender. My only design criticism is the flap covering the charger opening. I would have preferred it open from the front of the phone and lay flat while charging.

Love the defender series. Have dropped phone from 8 feet and still no damage....

I dropped my phone climbing up into a pickup. Landed screen first on the concrete. Was surprised and delighted to pick it up without a scratch! Case is sleek, protects from shock & elements, and has easy access to the belt clip. 5 Star Product all the way!

Being I am purchasing my rather expensive Galaxy 8s+ phone, I wanted to provide protection at it's best, so I test fitted this cover when purchasing my phone and was impressed enough to buy it on the spot. Very happy with the fit and functionality it provides.

I really like this case, the texture makes it easy to hold so I dont fear dropping it anymore, unlike my last case. The only this is I wish it had a screen protector... but at same time the glass that is used on the s8... if you break the screen, I am not sure there was anything gonna protect it.

I've always loved Otter box phone cases. This one is unusual in that it does not have an attached or included screen protector film. No film is recommended, as the extra wide Infinity screen doesn't work well. The plastic case is curved to help protect the screen, but I've still managed to slightly scratch the gorilla glass.

I've always had otterboxes and was hesitant on getting this one bc of the lack of screen protector. But I'm happy with this protector bc it feels thick and has a grippy feel. I wish they would have made the carrying case into a stand for the phone as well or even had a sleeve in the protector and/or in the carrying case.

There was no screen cover on this otterbox defender. I really expect the defender series case to offer total protection. However, this one leaves the screen side exposed. Other than that, it's the same defender case you've come to know and expect from Otterbox.

Awesome case and aint too big just fits on your hand. I dropped my phone many times and even face flat without the glass screen protector and it did the job right for protecting. First time using otterbox and will buy again for future updated phones!
