I have dropped my phone so many times and never had a problem with function due to having this case. In addition, if you have a pre-existing crack, it will stop it from spreading with repeated impact.

I haven't had the case on long but so far so good. I like how it wraps securely around my phone to give it extra protection. I also like that it comes with a holster to clip onto my belt or wherever I need it to go.

The galaxy glass is hard to protect, I tried glass protectors first, but was not getting the protection I wanted, this case seems to be doing a good job of protecting the phone when it’s dropped.

Its a good case for my S8+ but not a great case. This Otterbox offers good protection for my phone but after a while pushes away from your phone and make this $60 case feel cheap. I expect better from OtterBox.

This is a great case for the S8+ phones. Unlike the Commuter case, the Defender doesn't have the plastic back that can slip out of your hands. The case is very durable and doesn't take away from the curve screen.

I bought two of these cases for our new phones and we both love them! I work in healthcare and my husband works on a farm, so we're both hard on our phones in different capacities but this case is great for both!

I have used Otter Box cases for several years and have always been very pleased with them. However, I think they could have come up with a better solution for the Galaxy S8+. I realize the screen is curved and would cause issues, but with today's technology, you would think they could engineer a case that would include a screen protector that would work for this particular phone. Basically it now only gives protection on the back and sides of the phone, but leaves the screen completely unprotected which almost creates a situation of why bother having a case at all. I feel they could have done a better job of creating an overall better case that would protect the entire phone. Still really like their cases, just needs a screen protector included.
