I previously had a Samsung S4. The S8 is much, much better. Quicker, better screen, longer lasting battery. Although a removable battery would be better.

I was busy the defender because I tend to drop my phone a lot. I actually dropped my phone 9 feet down onto concrete floors and my phone was fine

I like the camera on this. Great quality photo's. We upgraded from Samsung 3. The only complaint is it is too long. So if you wear on a belt clip it cuts into your leg when sitting.

I have had this brand for two prior phones and this combination fits my needs very well. Belt clip gives me the ability to reach for the phone quickly.

My phone takes a lot of abuse. I have dropped it, spilled liquid on it, kept it in my back pocket . . . this case can withstand all abuse.

Case is very durable and attractive. Holds up well with normal use and even after dropping the phone a few times, no damage at all. Highly recommend.

The associate was most helpful with replacing my cell phone before the battery blew up. She helped transfer the information from my old phone.

I have used Otter Box Defender cases for many years. My phone even got run over by a fire truck and survived. The case cracked, but saved the phone.

Very solidly built yet keeps the case at a min to look great on the type of screen. Snaps tight into holster but easy to release. Would order again.

I am disappointed that Otterbox does not offer a Defender case for the Samsung S 8 phone with a screen protector-screenless only!! I have had Defender cases in the past and they ALWAYS had screen protection. This leaves me vulnerable and I had no choice but to buy a tempered glass protector for my phone from another vendor. I believe that Otterbox needs to provide screen protection for this phone. To not do so is unacceptable in providing complete protection in what is not an inexpensive form of protection for new products.

So far I really like my Galaxy 8. It is easy to use and has a big enough screen for me to see. The battery seems to stay charged pretty good also.

I needed something durable and reliable for my cell phone - let's say I might have a tendency to drop my phone! I recommend the case 100%.

I had to upgrade when my S5 was ruined during a canoe trip. The screen, which curves at the edges, took a little getting used to, but there battery life so far has been stellar.

Seems like the clip portion isnt reversible. Should be able to slide the phone in either way and it fit but it doesnt.

The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is they changed the flap over the power port. It makes it a little more difficult to plug it in. Overall is a great sturdy case

This is a quality case that I've come to expect from Otter Box. The only downside is new cases don't have a protective film over the screen so you have to purchase one separate.

Excellent product as always, fits like a glove. My only concern is that it does not have the front protection, and even my new phone is shatterproof still makes me nervious.

This is a great case for the Samsung Galaxy S8 It doesn’t have a screen protector. The screen protector is separate. Other than that great case

Case works great, had almost a year now with no issues. Wish there was a screen cover of some sorts I worry about the front screen not having any protection

Awesome case and extremely durable. Does add bulk, but you want to protect your cell phone investment at all costs. Recommended!
