Nice balance between heavy duty and size/weight. The color matches my Best Buy exclusive blue Galaxy 8.

I like that the case protects my phone. There's no screen cover. But the rest of phone is covered. Including the edge, so some function of the phone is lost. The covers for the charging cord and headphones are awkward and slightly pull the rubber from the hard case. The phone feels bulky in the case. I'm sure it's protected though.

I rely on Otterbox protection for my cell phone everytime I upgrade. Always the best insurance, IMHO.

This works good, but it has fallen off the belt clip several times. I never had this issue with the otterbox on my last phone.

Best Buy was the only store that had this blue otterbox I'm glad I was able to purchase it from them.

Easy to wrap around phone. The protective cover will definitely protect the phone should I drop it.

My phone has been dropped a few times and the otter box cover has protected it each and every time.

Otterbox has hand down great quality and excellent phone protection. The only reason that I am giving this a 4 and not a 5 is because the Otterbox for the Samsung Galaxy S8 does not come enclosed with screen protection. The info on the packaging says something about the curve functionality of the screen would be compromised if fully encased.

I had a Otter cover on my last phone. it protected it very well. very pleased with Otter products.

I had an Otter Box case on my old galaxy S6 and was very happy with it. Good case for galaxy S8.

Great case for protection and not bulky. Fits nicely in back pocket. There is a ridge on the back that sticks out, which can be a little bothersome. It's slick and smooth, it doesn't have the textured back and grip texture which I prefer. But besides that this is a great case and really looks nice on the S8 and is a fabulous color.

got this case for christmas for my son who uses his phone a lot. The extra protection is great.

Started with Commuter option, but it didn't provide best protection for the sides of the curved screen. Seemed like the screen stuck out beyond the case. Switched to Defender, which provides better side protection. Also like that it has a non slip (rubberized) back and sides. Only negative is getting the case off is difficult due to it being a 3 piece unit as opposed to the Commuter which is a single piece and easily removed.

Love it. The case is sturdy, it doesnt feel cheap, and protects well as i have dropped the phone already and nothing was affected. The only drawback is no screen protector but as cheap as i got the case i cant complain about spending another $10-15 on a screen protector.

This otter box defender is thinner than older models. Great for protecting your valuable phone

It fits the phone perfectly and takes away the worry of dropping and breaking expensive phone.

Great protection (tho I do have a screen protector too). A little hard to get phone into/out of belt clip. T-shirts, etc., tend to get caught in belt clip and thus at times it seems I miss getting the phone all the way into the belt clip securely. That given, it is still better than the prior protective case I had.
