I've always bought otterbox to protect my phones. It's sturdy, protects well, and has never let me down. I work in EMS and I put my phone through some abuse. Only gripe I have is the defender series for the S8 no longer has a built in screen protector. Otterbox has a screen protector for an additional $49.

I have used Otterbox defender series cases on eveery phone I've owned for years now. They hold up great to everyday wear and even protect from serious stuff like drops. Buy with confidence, or don't and replace that pretty new smartphone the first time you drop it.

Best protective case ever. it's durable and if it breaks, Otter box will replace.

It works perfect with my new phone and has a belt clip that I wanted very much.

I am in love with this product it stands the test of time,phone still like new.

Only complaint is that there is no screen protection. It has to be purchased separately for the Galaxy 8.

Really like how the cover feels in my hand, a nd it is thinner then my last one

The Defender is a great case and protects the phone very well. But zero, notta, none for the screen. Samsung curved glass is the issue for the lack of screen cover. Rubber outer cover holds in the hand well and doesn't slip on any surface, the main reason for the purchase. Would buy again.

This case protects my Galaxy S8 extremely well. Fits well in my hand and is not slick so I don't feel like it is going to slip out of my grip. I did just added a glass screen protector since it did not come with one due to the curved screen. So far so good.

Otterbox has definitely improved the Defender Series phone case. The old model left a dirt line on my screen due to the screen protector and the one for the Galaxy S8 does not have the screen protector. Would definitely suggest if you need rugged protection.

Picked up a new s8, after a year with my s7 with a cracked front and rear... Looked for a secure case to protect my investment. Found the OtterBox on sale 17.99!!!? What?! No brainer here. World class protection tested and survived already. Nice!!

I bought this case after breaking & replacing the fragile rounded edge screen on my phone. Poor design Galaxy, thank goodness that Otter Box is drop & kick tough. And I can wipe my phone off now with the germicidal wipes we have in the hospital.

I'm a believer in protecting a phone in the best way possible. Otterbox offers just that. I dropped my phone on asphalt upon leaving the store. Mind you, it hit the ground face down and there wasn't even a smudge, much less a scratch or dent.

The case is very slim which is great. At first I didn't think it raised the screen off of a surface but after testing it seems that the corners do raise it up just enough. Haven't dropped my phone yet, so I guess that's when we'll see if this is worth it.

Just like the previous versions, this thing will keep your phone safe. I have dropped it multiple times on the street and floor and my phone hasn't cracked at all. It's very stylish and the phone is still pretty thin with the case.

The case is nice and sturdy. Not as large as the case I had for my old phone.

It's sturdy but looks bulky and I prefer sleek looking sturdy phone cases , so ended up returning this.
