Having used several O/B cases , I have always used the belt clip at all times. I thought the lack of the screen protector would be a bigger issue but it has not been because of the belt clip I think. I do not think the latch that holds the phone on the clip is as aggressive as in the past. The belt clip or "holster" has dropped the phone with less accidental force. Still probably the best you are going to find for that S8 phone.

The phone works fine. The downside is that it is a different size charger but it does come with 1 adapter. Also, the sides of the screen can be difficult to touch - for example the L.

Had the otterbox defender for my galaxy s6 as well. These cases have always done a great job at protecting the phone when you inevitably drop the phone. The one thing I didn't like on the one for the S6 was the built in screen trapped dust inside. This one doesn't have that screen and combined with a screen protector it does a great job at protecting the phone. Does add some bulk to the phone but I like the little bit of added width when typing on the phone.

Awesome case for a overpriced phone. Nowadays you need these cases to protect the highly intelligent smart phones.

This case holds the phone very tight, and, it also sounds a "CLICK" that lets you know that your phone is secure.

The Otterbox does exactly what it is supposed to. Protects phone and allows full use of the screen.

I have always used the otter box for all my cell phones and have never had a broken screen after dropping it.

Fits nicely and doesn't make the phone too bulky. Access to all buttons and doesn't interfere with sound quality.

I have had several Otterbox Defenders, but am disappointed that there is no built in screen protector. The fit is much thinner though.

Works well for daily bumps and normal drops. A big fall while running and subsequent slide on the sidewalk destroyed the case.

Outter box are the best for protecting your phone I recommend this especially if you have children

I bought this after cracking the screen on my s-8. It offers great protection. I used it without the belt clip.

Outterbox Case a Very tough. Protects your phone at all times. And the look Nice on your Phone.

So far, so good. Not a techie and never got a top shelf phone before. This does way more than I need. The interface.. blah blah and the firmware.. beep bloop, combined with the giga-whatzits memory space stuff... Seriously though, makes phone calls, takes great pics, does stuff on the internets and you can get different apps that do stuff.. heck, I'm on it right now reviewing it. Gotta be some kinda space and time shattering paradox. Go git ya one. It's pretty cool.

Good case. Perfect fit for S8. It was saved my phone on more that one "drop" with no problems.

Good protection for an expensive Galaxy S8 phone. It gives good protection and was on sale the day I bought it.

I put this on my son's S8 and so far it has kept it safe. My son is 10 so he puts his phone thru its paces.

The Otter Box for my Samsung Galaxy works great. It has a ridge the whole way around the phone for protection.
