Durable to all kinds of handling treatment and not so bad once you get used to it. This case is not for everyone but when I garden, I'm not worried that it will fall off of me and break. I pop it out of the case when I'm safely indoors. Like a garage for the car. Perfect.

Favorite and most trusted brand. Want one you can rely on and it do what it says, look no further. No brainer. I've tried several others and they've had their own individual problems. Otter brand is all I buy. Worth the price and you won't be disappointed.

The only con is that it's screenless unlike my old one and it's been a struggle to find the right tempered glass

I was not planning on buying a new phone.but my husband seen this phone and I went home with it. It is awesome !!! So ladies if you want a new cell phone this is one time you need to have your husband go shopping with you. He may even want to have for him also.

Very sturdy, but does not come with a screen protector (extra pane) so your screen is "exposed". Otter box claims it still offers superior protection, and with this being my 3rd case from them I trust them. Important sidenote, the first 2 cases never failed me.

It does the job it was made for. Keeps the phone ports clean from dust.

I have used Otterbox defender series cases on every phone I've owned for years now. They hold up great to everyday wear and even protect from serious stuff like drops. Buy with confidence, or don't and replace that pretty new smartphone the first time you drop it.

Easy to install, and keeps it reasonably safe from incredibly destructive children. Perfect for a man who wants a sleek case & hates wasting precious time on install. Though my girlfriend (who is amazing btw) did install for me. Made the process even easier.

I initially bought this case for my husband. He tends to be a bit of a klutz. It has saved his phone multiple times. A great addition id the clip it brings. The only downside is that it is pretty bulky and it takes away from the nice sleek phone he has. For the must part it a great product.

The case overall is good. Form fitting, well made, doesn't obscure the edge (too much). People who have purchased otter boxes for their previous phones will be disappointed there is no screen protector. As of time of writing (5-17-17) there is still no real premium glass protectors available either.

Well I've dropped my phone a couple of times since purchasing the OtterBox case. No damage to the phone. I've had these before and they have saved me the cost of replacing phones. Have one on my wife's phone also. Excellent product.

After previously owning an Otterbox for my Samsung S6 I know the product was incredible. The S8 has a curved face and is harder to have a tight secure fit. This case works and after multiple drops it again has proven it is the best case in the market.

Since the dawn of smart phones appeared on the streets our family uses no other case than the otter box defender- being clumsy and sometimes careless with dropping we choose otter box for the great durability and protection it orovides

Wouldn't own a phone without an Otterbox! The warranty and sturdiness of OtterBox makes this a no-nonsense decision. Can't beat the quality of OtterBox! Good price for the peace of mind and protection of the ever so expensive cell phones these days.

Similar to past models but does not include the screen protector

I went from a flip phone to this , thus the "fossil". There is not much that is intuitive with this device but when in a bind people at 'Best Buy' and Verizon got me on track. A lot of capability and a great camera. Hands free driving was great after my nephews girl kid got me connected.

Great case comes with belt clip but best of all is works with the Samsung wireless charger, I don't have to remove it from the case. Others didn't work and I tried them right in the store but a Best Buy employee pointed me in the right direction.

Case is great. Has a clip that rotates attached to the cover for clipping your phone to a belt, pocket, backpack, etc. Use this case for work, walks, and hikes. Have yet to actually drop phone in this case, but it seems like it would hold up in a minor drop.
