I had an Otterbox for my Galaxy 5 and it was not up to what I had heard. I reluctantly purchased this one for my 8, and am I impressed. The design is much better and material seems better. I wish they had a glass protector, but no one does...

It's exactly like you've come to expect, except it doesn't have a screen protector. I almost gave it 4 stars but decided not to because I'm kind of glad it doesn't. Not having a screen protector allows it to keep the nice lines of the phone.

I got the Galaxy S8 and traded in my S6. I thought it would be a world of difference, but honestly, it's a few minor upgrades and a curved screen, (which honestly, I'm not in love with), and I'm left wondering if I should have taken on the expense and trouble of trading in my S6

I highly recommend the Otter Defense phone case. It is very sturdy and feels very comfortable in my hand. It is well worth the money. I did not purchase one for my last phone and I was very sorry when I accidently dropped it.

Been using Otterbox for years and for good reason. I'm constantly hard on phones. As long as they are in the OtterBox they keep working after being drop tested and having a hammer fall on them.

Otterbox has never disappointed. It is a very durable product that protects your device from falls and dropping. I have tested this claim many times over a number of phones, including my new Galaxy S8. You can't go wrong with this brand!!

This item is an essential product to provide a secure clip for access to your phone as well as an agent to assist protecting the phone(in the case) if it falls. I have had this type of case for my previous phones for the past 6 years.

Provides essential protection for the S8 with its protruding glass screen. Would prefer slide-in/slide-out holster design. Clip-in holder has been released a few times by brushing up against door frames and other things.

Otter box case are strong and very good protection however they are not good for the curved glass screen protectors. We had to return 2 of them and the 3rd one shattered when it popped off and hit the concrete.

Sweet, the phone case is super stylish nice upgrades high-capacity durable case polyurethane lining which I really like to work in construction and mining and I hunt and fish lots of outdoors, the type of phone I've been waiting for

I still with otter box defenders for all my phones and this one is no different. Works well with the S8. Would like it to have the screen cover but I have yet to find one that works so I'm ok with them leaving it out. Would buy again

Nice case for a short period of time. The clips that hold it into the belt clip snapped off and now the neoprene cover is stretched and swelled. Otterbox quality isn't nearly what it used to be.

I like the Otterbox - green phone case for my Samsung 8 because it is very durable. It has a cover by the charging port to protect it from mositure damange. It is easy to use the buttons with this case. I would have given it 5 stars if it was lighter in weight.

I have to keep replacing these cases. The rubber expands and then starts getting stuck in your pocket. OtterBox will replace the rubber if you jump through some hoops. Just not worth it. After 6 months the case is about shot anyways. But hey, that's it's job.

I've tried multiple cases like BodyGlove and generics, but Otterbox tends to hold up best. I had the new case ordered in for me by an associate since the cases for the new Samsung and Apples were taking over.

Bought a Samsung s8 phones and needed a protective case. Have used otter box in the past and am happy with the quality. If i had one complaint it's that I can't charge my phone with the wireless charger I bought but other than that it's a good product.

Otter box has protected my last phone for 7 years. The phone looks like new. I wouldn't choose anytyhing else to protect my new phone. Because of the phone design, this one doesn't seem to protect the screen as well as the last one, but I still expect it will work.

This this is sturdy and does its job pretty well. This case, mixed with the Galaxy S8 and a screen protector do not mix very well. For some reason this case eats up and unfolds all the terrible screen protectors that are available out there for this curved screen.

I work as a roadside tech and these cases go thru it all. They're not in indestructible, but my phone had always survived. Only thing I don't like is it don't have a built in screen protector.

The s8 is a hard device for case makers. The curved screen does not lend itself to complete coverage. Otterbox always makes great cases. This is no exception. I don't use the plastic cover except at night on my night stand.
