This case seems to protect the phone so far 2 months in. I miss the totally enclosed case that is no longer available. It offered much more protection.

Most expensive case I've purchased to date but overall it has been good to me so far. I dropped my phone several times and this case protected my phone from every single one. I even took the case off to check the back of the phone to ensure that wasn't cracked and the entire phone looks as if I never dropped it. Only issue with me is the flaps that cover the charger and headphone ports can get a little bothersome as I'm still trying to get used to that.

Upgraded four generations and we are trusting Otterbox to protect like the previous one did for five years.

This seems way more sturdy than my last Otterbox. Seems like it offers a lot more protection than before.

I always use otter box to protect my phones so it was a no brainer I knew I would get one when I got the galaxy s8+. It feels good and strong. I've read some of the complaints being that it doesn't have a screen protector. With the curved glass of the s8+ it's probably better that it doesn't have one.

I have a nasty habit of dropping my phone, so I decided to invest in a quality case. I was especially concerned, since my s8+ has the edge to edge Infinity display. This case fits my phone perfectly. I've dropped my phone several times on concrete, and have seen no damage so far. Worth every penny to me!

These are awesome! Always dropping my phone and hasn't broken yet! Took one star because they stretch out and fit loose at the corners after a bit.

My first Defender protected my S3 from a few drops over the 5 years I had it until too many drops in the hot tub killed some of the buttons. Not a factor as neither the phone more the case are supposed to protect from water damage. As much, or even more than the protection factor I require a rubberized case for grip and overall usability of the phone. They are skinny smooth and slick. With the Defender I can walk around with my phone in my front shirt pocket and not worry about it slipping out of my pocket if I bend over to pick up something, I can put it on my dashboard without worrying about it sliding across and out the window, and I can pick up and use the phone without having to consciously think about how and where I am doing so for fear of hitting an errant button. The protection factor is a given but even if not for that I would buy this or a similar product just for the ease of use it adds to the phone.

Have always had a defender on my phones. Only thing I'm unsure of is the design of new phone leaves some of the screen exposed. Only time will tell

I like the otter box a lot. The only downfall is that the new otterboxes don't have a screen protector. I think this is ridiculous hence my 4 stars.

Best ever, I didn't think I'd find something that would compare to my old system set up, this is great.

This case is great for my Samsung 8+. It feels very well protected. Would buy again and would recommend.

The case was great, but what do you expect, it's an Otter Box. Don't like the fact that the Defended series don't come with a screen protector.

This case provides solid protection for the Galaxy S8+ smartphone. It provides a nice grip that the S8+ doesn't have without a case. Also, the holster is nice to have since the phone is large and difficult to keep in pockets. It doesn't come with a screen protector but is screen protector friendly.

I like my case, it matches my car, which for me is cool beans. However for nearly $60 I am still worried about my screen and I feel I shouldn't have that sorta lingering worry ... have yet to drop my phone and I rarely do but my other Otter Boxes have done their jobs well, so this one should as well.

The defender case is actually much sleeker than previous cases I've had with the note series. I expected it to make the phone a lot more bulky but it actually gives the phone the right amount of "this feels safe to hold " and "I don't want a huge case ". Only flaw I saw was that there was no screen protector with it, which I ended up going with a tempered glass anyway.

Expected the case to come with a screen protector built in but it doesn't. Regardless of that the case feels very sturdy like you would expect an Otterbox to feel. The case is slim and doesn't add very much bulk to the phone. Fits nicely in a pocket and it comes with a holster to clip onto a belt.

Like The Case , with the Belt Clip . Wish it came with a S8 + Screen Procter . Does a otherwise good job in protecting your phone . While in the Full case , but when using the phone or not attached to the Belt Clip . No Screen Protection If You Drop your Phone Face Down or on the Face . 9/1/17

I have drop my phone more than 2x and it's still safe with the otter box cover for my Samsung phone.
