This case is very secure. It fits the case nicely.

Does give fairly decent protection (although the screen has no cover, and is somewhat susceptible if falling on uneven surfaces). The 8+ has a fair amount of water resistance, so the case has less "work" in protecting the phone (compared to some previous versions).

My only downfall is why doesn’t it have the plastic cover across the screen anymore?

Great case protector but wish he protected the screen like the other otterboxes did.

Big case offers more protection but is not too friendly with some in car wireless charging. Not really a pocket friendly type of case. Will definitely protect your phone but not easy to get in and out of case if need. Had to return for a slimmer version.

This OtterBox case is very nice for the S8 plus. Not too bulky and provides excellent protection. $850.00 is a lot to spend on a phone and I don't want it getting damaged. You can't go wrong with OtterBox.

This is my fifth Otterbox for my phones over the years. Tough and durable. Keeps phone from sliding on smooth surfaces. Most importantly if you drop phone it will not break with this case!

Cycled through two other cases before I finally got this item. Adds bulk, but definitely protects the phone. Makes holding the phone easier & the added holster is great. Highly recommended this case.

I always buy otter box defenders for my galaxy phones. They provide protection with guarantee. Though I could not find one with a screen protector for my s8+ I still bought it and found a case friendly tempered glass screen protector to go along with it.

Needed a good quality case for work, and personnel use. Well worth the price.

If you have a Galaxy S8+, you absolutely NEED this case. The S8+ is a beautifully designed phone. Looks great and feels great, But it achieves those design points by using an all glass enclosure front, back, and curved sides and corners. It's smooth, slippery, and pretty large to get a good grip on even with big hands. And it's virtually impossible to drop this phone onto a hard surface without cracking the glass, which is a minimum $200 repair. You WILL drop it, or it will creep out of your pants pocket and leap to the floor by itself, or you will set it on the couch beside you and it will immediately head for the crack between the cushions and drop through. You MUST have a strong, impervious case on this phone. Enter the OtterBox Defender. It fits the phone perfectly with a hard plastic shell wrapped in a soft rubber cover., all without adding more than a quarter inch or so to each side. Now I can comfortably grip the phone without it wriggling free, it stays in my pants pocket until I want it, and it no longer tries to run for the crack in my sofa. The case design allows full visibility of the curved phone edges, while curving up slightly at the top and bottom to make sure that even if it's dropped, the glass will not impact the floor. Exactly what I needed. Should have bought it with the phone. I learned my $200 lesson in the first week I had the phone. Good looking non intrusive design that offers exactly the protection you need!

I bought these for our new phones, as I had one for my old Galaxy S4 - it kept my phone from being damaged many times. I hope that these will do the same; time will tell, as they don't have a screen cover, unlike the Otterbox I had for the S4.
