This is by far the best case out there for people who travel with their iPad daily. I love how the "cover" part of the case snaps on, holds the Apple Pencil securely, and also acts as a 2-way stand for the iPad. I can use the stand at a low angle, as a surface to draw on, or at a high angle, as a display. My only wish is that the protective clear screen cover had a bit of a "tooth" feel to it - it is quite labor intensive to take the case off, and I really like to use a screen "paper-like" surface to draw on (the peel and stick types of covers.) I've only purchased OtterBox Defender cases for my iPhones, have been super happy, so decided to go with this case for my iPad. This case is pricey, but so worth the cost when I need to travel from home to work daily. Last, I am a teacher, and right now during this pandemic I'm wiping everything down with wipes - a lot. It is super easy to wipe this case down. This is the case for these times.

Overpriced with no screen protection as I'm used to with the defender series. However, I think its the best case out there that works with my 10.2 8TH ipad with a holder for the Apple Pencil. No issues with overheating or powering the unit on or off. No issues with the charging port, I had the angled lightening charging port on the ipad itself. I bought this cause of previous Otterboxes asorbing the impacts on my large cell phones which seem much more durable then this new one. But, gotta have that protection or a 2yr apple plan with accidental.

The OTTERBOX DEFENDER SERIES CASE FOR APPLE IPAD 10.2 is great. You pay for what you buy. A bit pricey but well worth it. I don't have to worry about cracking my screen. I recommend this item overall product cases. 5 stars

Bought this last Christmas to protect my 9 year olds new ipad. He can be super rough on things and this case has saved the day numerous times. Even after many drops and spills his iPad still looks brand new thanks to this case. Can not go wrong with this otter box case!

Its a great otter box for a ipad but if u wan it for ur kid ages 2-3 I don't recommend its to heavy for them but when they drop they I pad guess who's not buying an other one !!! That's us ill.keep it safe n the touch botten its perfect on the case i really recommend it!

This case and cover for my iPad 7th generation is great. It's very well made and the multiple positions is a must have. I utilize it daily. I highly recommend purchasing one. Outter is a well made case of great quality. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.

This is a very good case. Very strong for impact Incase you droop it. The material that it’s made of his very comfortable. Don’t be afraid to let the kids use it, it will handle a beating. Do you know what they say you get what you pay for a very good investment.

It’s a great case only thing that made it a 4 star is the price, otherwise it protects the iPad which is heavily used by a 5 yr old

Although expensive, this case is a beast. I’ve used this case on a work tablet for years that took many falls and still protected the tablet well. Bought this for my son’s tablet knowing it could handle any thrashing the boy would give it.

As with all the otterbox products I’ve owned, it’s superb in every way! Protects my sons iPad as I hoped it would. He’s a wild child so I knew I needed a case that would stand up to severe punishment. It has not disappointed me yet.

I love OtterBox products and it was not disappointed in this case for my iPad. I love that the screen protector is built right in so you just put it in the place snap together and you’re good to go. I love this case and have it for everything I own.

Not easy to get on, there is a little gap between edges, but it protects screen and iPad and has a stand, so it does all I need

This thing protects my iPad better than anything in the market. Buy this if you need some serious protection. The built in screen protector is the best I've ever seen. It functions perfectly, and the response is almost as if it wasn't there.

This is our 2nd OtterBox Defender. I bought one about 4 years ago for my mini iPad. That is the reason we bought this one for my wife iPa. I have drop my a few times, it has protected it. Love it

I know there are cheaper products out there, but I have always bought Otterbox and have never had any issues, and I have kids that drop there tablets all the time. This product pays for itself with not having to keep rebuying iPads

Always happy with Otterbox! Over the years I have purchased over a dozen Otterboxes for phones and tablets. I hope I don't jinx myself but NEVER a cracked screen in over 10 years of using Ottertbox Defender series products

Seems to check all the boxes when trying to protect the IPad. We will be using outside with our crews in an outside environment. So far, they have had no issues with it and seems very durable. Putting IPad into the case not difficult.

I purchased a couple of these for our huge warehouse and as expected they’ve been dropped but no damage to the device which means no downtime waiting on replacement. So far it’s paid for itself within just a few weeks.

A little difficult to install but following the directions will help simplify. Expensive but great quality and durable. I wished it came with a cloth to clean screen prior to installation to help with fingerprints and fibers.
