The rubber began to give away from the hard plastic that cracked shortly after purchasing on 2 caresses so I returned them

Cannot sit down when when case is attached to your belt, have broken 2 different case in 2 months just by sitting down(belt holder snaps off), case is over $50 dollars, does protect the phone well, but you will have to carry the phone all the time.

It works extremely good and keeps your phone secure !

The Otterbox protects the screen but does not protect the camera. I have to pay out of pocket to repair the camera screen. My Bestbuy Protection plan wants $195.00 to replace the newly purchase phone. So much for the protection plan.

Dust gets under the screen protector scratching your screen and the more you take off the plastic shell it deforms it.

The OtterBox is supposed to last for life but less than a few months of buying it, it was dropped and it broke not only the case but my boyfriend's new phone.

I had a case like this before and I retuned it because it is uncomfortable.

After owning many otterboxes, I think it's time to choose a new brand. This one held up less than 5 months. Wasn't exposed to anything that would've caused damage yet the outer case has peeled and torn. Not worth the money.

I purchased this case because other case I had got caught on something and broke the clip. Issue is the case does not fit the phone at all, it is loose and gets caught in the clip.

Fits like a glove works like a brick. Protects you phone from everything except water

I'm loving this heavy duty case. I'm a mom of two young children and a total clutz and drop my phone at least once a day. With any other case, my phone would have some serious damage by now. I've used cheaper cases in the past (think more stylish less functional) and I was constantly replacing them because the pictures on the back of the case would rub off or they were getting chipped from getting dropped so much. I've had this case for a few months and it looks brand new!

I am in construction and cringe at the thought of subjecting a $700 device to the rigors of our industry. The Otterbox Defender has SAVED my phone many times! It's large enough to provide adequate protection but not so large that it cannot comfortably fit into your front pocket (for a male anyway). It's rubber outer cover makes it much easier to grip than the phone alone.

I bought this case based off a past positive experience. I had a Defender on my Galaxy Note 3 of which I owned for 2.5 years. I dropped it from hip height (and sometimes higher) and the Defender did its job each time. I would have had to replace my Note 3 much sooner if I didn't have the Defender. Now I have the Defender for the Note 5 and it comes with the same build quality I've come to expect. There is one small caveat for this case, well two actually—depending. The design is slightly different than the Note 3 version. The built-in screen protector has a cutout where the home button is. On the Note 3 version, this was a section of hard plastic with a rubber dust guard. This no longer exists and the cutout does allow dust in and you will need to take the case apart to clean it regularly—unless you like specks of dust trapped under the screen protector. The good news is that It doesn't cause bubbles like other protectors though. Additionally, if you use it, the belt clip does partially block the S Pen. If you don't use the belt clip, you're all good. Other than that, great protection, great peace of mind, great case.

I wouldn't use anything else on my phones. In fact when I was getting out of the car I dropped my phone and it landed on the screen side and it didn't hurt it at all, last time I did that when I didn't have the defender on my phone the screen shattered

This case has protected my phone from scratches and drops. I am very satisfied with its quality.

This product does what it says. It is not too bulky and very functional. I would recommend to anyone looking for protection at a fair price.

Very good case but water can get in and dirt can get between the case and the screen
