It My Samsung s9+ almost never needs cleaning because the screen protector adheres directly to the screen. Previous Defender cases had a screen protector that was part of the case; This screen protector, sold separately, adheres directly to my phone so there is no space for debris to collect. A phone will stay much cleaner since there is no space for anything to be trapped.

I just upgraded my phone to a Galaxy S9+ after 4 years with my old Note 3 and you truly can't tell my old phone isn't new out of the box! It's been in the Defender case since the day I bought it and I'm doing the same with my new phone. Why mess with success? It also works great with my new Samsung Wireless Charger! Thanks OtterBox for your awesome products!
