It is bulky- but it protects my new iPhone while it’s in my bag and I don’t have to stress what will happen to my phone. The extra belt clip piece is great for keeping the phone secured in my jacket pocket.

I’ve gotten otterbox cases for my last several phones and they have never let me down. I wish there were more color options though. They don’t come with screen protectors anymore, which I prefer. Love how this one has a whole back instead of a cut out of the apple logo. Might be expensive for some but is well worth the price.

I had an Otter Box Defender on my old iPhone, and it protected it well. I wanted the same thing for my new phone. Although it is a little big making my phone bulky, I think it is worth the protection it offers. Also, it does not come with a screen protector the way the old ones do, so I had to purchase a screen protector separately.

For me, a case needs to provide protection first and beauty second. I really like the OtterBox Defender Pro for my iPhone XR. It was a little hard to figure out how to open the case but I realized the outer flexible portion lifted up around the face and then slipped off the hard portion of the case. The hard case fit perfectly and the softer outer case fits it perfectly. Overall, it gives the XR a really nice clean look with great protection. I haven’t dropped my XR yet so can’t say how great the protection is but seems like it will hold up well.

Great case like every other otter box I’ve had. It fits the iPhone XR prefectly and provides great protection. Only thing missing a a screen protection which could be added if you need it.

First we have owned many otter boxes over the years and they work, My daughter is constantly dropping her phone! The Defenders may be a little bulky but they definitely work. My only concern with the new ones is the lack of a screen protector.

Otterbox has never failed me. Although this makes the XR much bulkier And heavier than I would like and has no screen cover, it’s still a fav for protection.

I only trust the Otter line of phone covers. Yes they’re somewhat bulky and cumbersome, but with that in mind, think of how many times your phone would’ve been destroyed if you didn’t have one of these rugged covers on them. The only drawback to this specific one is that there wasn’t any covering for the face of the phone. I merely purchased one separately. Remember, your not only holding a smartphone in your hand - its a portable PC ! So protect your investment!

Like the color better than I thought I would. I've already dropped my new phone a few times in this case and as expected it did not break. The case doesn't have any scuffs or scratches on it yet so it holds up great as well. It is not slender but that is a fair trade off for me since I know I would break it without such an indestructible case. If you've never owned an Otterbox Defender before, just be prepared for the fight to get the phone in there. Once your phone is in you will never want to take it back out. The struggle is real :)

This case is great for protection! Its not like the old otterboxes where the silicon part was very rubbery texture. Its easy to grip and easy to use.

It is a good price for this case. It protects your phone good. However, it is now a screenless case so you need an extra screen protector.

Easy to install. Offers protection at a reasonable price. Doesn’t come with a screen protector so have to buy that separately.

Love this case, saved me over and over. The color is good and hides the dirt and grime, easy to sanitize too.

Otter box always been good for me love it so far very safe feels good to my hand was very easy to put onto my phone feel it makes my phone looks bigger I love the color and how easy it is to charge my phone and put my headphones in and out

I've used the Otterbox since I got my first iPhone, the 6+. That's, (what?) more than 4 years ago. The belt clip broke once on that one and Otterbox replaced it, no problem. But it saved my phone several times. I don't know if there's anything closer to armor than this case. It adds weight, but who cares? Now I have the iPhone XR, and this Otterbox is better than the first one I had. I recommend a screen protector, too, especially if you buy your phone outright and you want to keep it a while.

It's a bit heavy, but it really protects the phone when dropped and it does not easily slip off your hand or other surfaces.

Product is dependable and affordable. Not to bulky like the others with a screen that ends up strong defictive.

I havent dropped it yet as it is so easy to hold onto. Bulky yes, but necessary so screen doesnt crack.

Overall this is an excellent case. It is durable and provides the type of quality I expect from Otterbox with less bulkiness than previous models. I would have given this case 5 stars if it had a built in screen protector, but sadly the case is open on the front. This seems to be the trend with most phone cases now days though so I can't say I have any real complaints about my purchase. At the end of the day this case is worth the money and it will keep your phone safe without a doubt.

OtterBox Defender series offers the best phone protection and includes a belt clip. I'm not a fan of putting my phone in a pocket so with the belt clip my phone is accessible and has great protection when dropped. I ride a motorcycle and never had a problem with my phone coming loose or being in the way. The lifetime warranty is an added plus. Get one if you don't mind the extra phone size and want the extra protection...
