This is at least the third time I’ve used the otter box defender as my iPhone has changed size. I commute and recreate on bicycles with my phone strapped to my hip where I can easily manage volume and play settings while I ride. They have protected my phone in some gnarly crashes, and are reliable in inclement weather. You get used to the bulkiness pretty quickly when it’s not in the holster.

I always seem to drop my phone and wanted the best protection because new iPhones are all glass. This case does that. Very protective and phone does not slip off surfaces. It’s a bit thicker than I’m used to and doesn’t fit in all pants pockets but I’ll live with that. Easy to find in my purse too. Sure, it’s not pretty or stylish but that’s ok.

Every phone and apple product me and my family have has a Otter Box Defender on it. They are a little bulky, but that is what makes them protect so well. I have seen how they work first hand having two small children that find a way to drop iPads routinely. I am a fan of this product and will continue to purchase for all my apple products.

Best case made yet. Little heavy but fits great and protects phone well.

This is my 2nd OtterBox Defender case (got a bigger phone). It's a little expensive and bulky buy my previous phone had dropped several time 4ft onto concrete without any damage! With the defender case you get holster which works out get for me, I don't like carrying my phone in my pocket.

This is at least the 5th Otterbox Defender I have bought. I use my phone frequently in harsh, cold, wet industrial environments. I have dropped my phone several times on concrete and in water puddles and have not had a cracked screen or water related damage. The case fits over the phone well and the skin is easy to install.

I’ve always kept my iPhones in Otter Box cases and I’ve never had any problems. I tried the Commuter case first, which was a little less bulky, but the back of the case felt slick. It was difficult to use the phone with one hand without it feeling like it would slip and fall. The Defender case has more grip in the back and I’ve had no issues with it.

A little bulk, but great protection. Comes with belt clip.

Otter Box Defender is the one to use to protect your phone. I have it clipped to my belt at work as maintenances mechanic and it is super secure. Have dropped my phone a few times and no damage done. The outside shell has a great rubberized grip that last longer than any other case.

I only use Otterbox Defender to protect my cell phones for my whole family. I cant tell you how many times we all drop our phones and not even a scratch on the phone. If you want to look like everyone else with a cracked screen then dont buy this product. I will only and always use OtterBox to protect my cell phones.

We have used the OtterBox Defender case for our last three i phones and I personally know that the case has saved us from damaging our phones on numerous occasions. The protection this case offers is well worth the price. Strongly suggest checking out this case if you are looking for protection against damage.

This is my second OtterBox Defender Case . The first case kept my phone protected and looking like new for the entire 3 1/2 years I kept the phone. The new Defender Series Pro is without the screen protector, and seems heavier than the original. It also lacks the cut out for the Apple logo on the back of the phone . The holster latch holding the phone in place does not feel like it is secure enough for this heavy case. Overall it is a solid case, but I preferred the OtterBox Defender Case I had for my IPhone 6.

I still have a little love for an old school otter box defender.. massive sturdy protection for your iPhone. I dropped that sucker 10 feet down a ladder and NO issues!!! Love it! Yes it’s bulky, no not the most stylish but when you work at construction sites or need function to protect your style... this is for you

This case has been ran over by a military truck. phone did bend slightly , dropped from first floor and phone still works. only neg , cut the rubber peice off charger and silent button for easy access. Its bulky but its the best case i ever had for protection. My 3rd one now. Not pretty but best out there for safety.

Like all of the other Otter cases we have bought for our iPhones, this one for the iPhone Xr is great and provides confidence that the phone will not be damaged if it is dropped. We continue to be pleased with these products. It might add a little bulk, but the assurance of protection is a good trade-off.

Bought this to protect my new Xr iPhone.It is a little bit bulky and adds some weight to the phone but I have every confidence that it will provide the protection you’ll need if you drop your phone. It comes with a clip to attach to your belt if you want to wear your phone there,

After purchasing a new iPhone XR I knew I needed a case for protection. I have owned Otterbox cases before so I knew they make a rugged quality product. This one fits the phone like a glove and provides the protection I was looking for in a phone case.

This case is a must and if you want a screen protector you’ll need to buy it separately. The only fault with this product is that because it does its job so well they needed to eliminate the screen protector so as not to void the Apple iPhone warranty due to moisture damage from sealing the phone so tight. Gorilla glass is an extra purchase but well worth it. This case is a must for those that will expose the phone to a lot of rough handling. Love this case

Bulky. Thick. Tough. Rugged. The best friend of anyone who is tough on their phone!! You can definitely depend on this item to take good care of your phone while you’re not paying attention to what you’re doing. Will save you money in repairs to your phone in the long run.

Otterbox Defender series phone cases are a leader in protective cases for cell phones. This is probably my 4th Defender case over tha past decade. I have never had a broken phone while dropping it woth this case on. They may be slightly bulkier than the designer cases, but if you are active or have an outsoor job, this case is worth every penny. The only issue I have ever had was the belt clip breaking on one of the holders after about 3 years!
