I have an XR iPhone and this case works great when I am pocketing because it has a clip that covers the screen. I do t use the clip but like the screen covered. I have a screen protector that fits with this case well. It’s large for excellent protection unparalleled. Look at the specs on the otter boxes and see this is unique.

No screen protector Misleading online description

I went to best buy specifically because the online description of the case stated “built in screen protector safeguards against dust grime and scuffs”. Reading that made me think the screen protector, that goes over the screen, was built in just like every other defender case I have purchased. WRONG! THIS CASE COMES WITH NOTHING THAT GOES OVER THE SCREEN! I was pretty disappointed in otterbox’s decision to not make a case for the xr with screen protection.

As for the decision to remove that screen protector, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the screen if this device was without the addition of built-in screen protection. I just Don’t understand all the people with broken/cracked screens etc - get an otter box stupid !

Convenient IPhone case

Because the XR is much bigger than my old IPHONE 7 it really can’t fit in a pocket and be readily available. This case allows me to put the case on my belt and have it easy to release from the case when I needed to use the phone. The plastic case on the phone also offers great protection against dropping the phone. I am glad I made the purchase.
