This type of case has always been my go to. Always protects my phone 100%. My phone gets handled roughly at work. And the case takes the beatings and drops. Only downside to this case is the rubber like finish does keep all stains, dirt and dust very quickly. But a quick clean up does the job.

I have ALWAYS had an Otter Box so I continued with my new phone. Disappointed that the new one lacks a screen protector. Still a good product.

My 13-year old son dropped and ran over his phone while racing with his friends in Pole Position with their electric race cars at 35mph. If he didn’t have this case, he would have been grounded big time and worked a year of chores to pay for a new phone. Super tough case.

Very solid case that is capable of withstanding the most harsh drops. It is however very bulky and adds like a quarter inch all the way around.

If drop I feel confident my phone is safe . This Otter box have a great feel in your hand . It was a good buy and reasonably price .

4 stars because clip is not capable of holding phone on your side if you move and bend a lot while working. The case itself seems to be good.

I liked the old otterbox cases when the screen protector was part of it. Seems like otterbox is getting more expensive and less is included.

I have been using otterbox for YEARS! Recently I did try to use other cases (cute girlie ones) and I didn’t feel 100% comfortable like I do with otterbox. After all the money that is put towards the expensive phone I don’t mind spending a little extra for the phone cover.

Haven’t had major drops yet, so I can’t really say, I do know that it will protect your precious iPhone when it drops from waist height

I love the Otterbox Defender series. I have used it for every phone I’ve had for the last decade. But I love this case even more because it doesn’t have the window in the back that shows the Apple logo. It was just unnecessary and collected a bunch of dirt and grime. Great case.

Seems to work fine, but is overpriced and now you have to purchase a glass protector to go along with it, which is overpriced as well.

This otter box case was good but my only problem was the defender series does not cover the screen. Otherwise it’s a great case.

Got this because my phone would come into the shower with me and a little bit of mist sometimes got on it and made the speakers go crazy. I’m not saying it’s water proof but if it’s just like rain it will keep the water off most of it.

lets start by saying everytime i uprade to a new phone.i purchase a otterbox defender to go with it.i am a mechanic and i need a rugged case to protect my phone.plus it is one of only companys stiil out there that believes in a belt holster to free up my pockets.

Otterbox has always been my go to case. The only bad thing about these casses are that there is no screen cover any more.

I’ve own an iPhone for years and before I get the phone I get an Otterbox! Their cases are awesome. Took a little while to get use to the “open face” case but still the best if you punish your phone. If you use it....it can take it.

Strong production when lost in my purse plus easy to find wearing it on my belt is also great coverage is great

The defender works great when ever the phone dropped. It has a solid plastic inerlayer and rubbery second layer that not only absorbs shock from a drop but it is also shaped in a way that prevents the front screen from completely shattering.

Great quality! Rugged protection! 2 part protection, definitely recommended for kids and teens.

I love the otter box defender. Have always used them. Keeps my phone always in new condition. One time had issues with my phone and because it was in a otter box looking like it just got taken out of the apple box they replaced my phone with ease
