These newer cases hinge on the front. It’s a thinner connection point and has caused the cover to tear after regular daily use. The replacement option is fair, so I don’t mind, but I wish they’d go back to the old layout. It seemed to hold up better.

This one worked really well and last almost 2 years before the white inner case started to break due to dropping it. I really wish there were more colors and variety from this brand for the XS Max.
