We're sorry for any frustration with your Defender Series case! When it comes to the kickstand feature on the holster, If you look at the part that actually clips onto your belt, you should see a small lip on the spring-end near the hinge. If you press down there, it should lock out the clip into a stand! If that doesn't help, give us a ring at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.
