Love this case it offers good protection with not being too bulky. Also like the fact it came with a belt clip

I would say that this is the best rugged protection for a construction worker which i am, also in my opinion otterbox keeps making it look better because of the design in the back which is excellent, like i said before i prefer this case because i use my cellphones for a year and they always look pristine the only thing that I don't like is that they use to come with a plastic screen protector(and we were able to remove it if desired) but they don't anymore

It took me months to finally upgrade my phone because I'm not thrilled with the new Otterbox because it does not have the built in screen protector. This Defender has protected my phone when I accidentally dropped it from about waist high but I still do not have a screen protector. So this is why I'm giving it 4 stars. There are off brands that have built in protectors for these new screens with an edge so why doesn't OtterboX? but i dont trust the off brand to protect my phone in a fall. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'd only recommend this because there's no other real choice.

In recent years otterbox has updated thier cases. They seem more durable and fits better better, between the silicone and the hard plastic. It makes sense that they stopped making built in screen protectors. It would always interfere with the touch and or gets dirty in between the screen protector and phone. Love how they cover up the charging ports and head phones jack, preventing from dusts. Great buy and Otter box never disappoints.

Great protection, belt clip is great and no screen protector which is better than the older models

I was disappointed that I had to buy a separate screen protector because it doesn’t bring a screen protector. It’s very expensive. It protects the phone.

Great case, seems to definitely do the job. Unfortunately, I can't use it with my fast cordless charger without taking the phone out of the case.

Heavy protection, not as bulky as defenders used to be. No screen protector however.

Purchased this case because I've been using the Otter Box brand for the last 4 years. The cases work. I've had one drop so far and no damage to the phone or case. The cover has a good texture that's easy to grip. It does add some bulk to the phone but it does not make it hard for me to hold the phone. Someone with smaller hands may have trouble though because the Note 9 is already large.

I like the protection. I've used Otter on other phones and this one does not disappoint. Caution when selecting a wireless charger. The This Otter case, protects so well it does limit wireless charging devices. Do your homework to confirm your wireless charger device will work. The Samsung unit I got as a promo with the phone works with careful placement but other off brand cheap units purchased for a second location do not charge the phone. Worth the effort given how good the case protects the phone.

Otterbox's aren't the cheapest, but the level of protection is hard to beat. It makes a large phone a bit larger, but still can carry in my pocket and the rubberized outer cover provides enough friction phone does not slide out of pocket as others had. I don't use the belt clip to carry, but love using it as a very stable and secure base for watching videos.

This case was a good find considering the variety of S9 Note phone cases are limited. I checked through amazon and none truly caught my attention or that I found to be reliable enough to protect my approaching 1000$ phone. I wish it had a screen protector included because my screen did suffer small scratches in the mean time. I do appreciate that the case also allows for easy access to the stylus and is open where the speaker it. The flaps for the aux port and the charger port are a bit tough to open the first couple times however, over time it begins to get easier. Overall Otterbox is a reliable case and I would buy it again.

People complain sometimes about the size of the case, but Id rather have the protection. Unfortunately there is no front glass protection because of the curved screen. The otterbox for the S7 Edge had a glass protector but that caused issues because you would have to press really hard on the screen, so I am guessing that is why they did away with the glass protector.

I have used this style for every Note I've owned and it has never failed. I'm still not totally convinced because it no longer has a built in screen protector, but so far so good even with a few drops. So far the rubber outer skin has not stretched out like previous versions. So the is an improvement.

Very solid case, protects the whole phone. Little bulky, but it's for the protection..but also pricey...
