Not as functional as I would like for fast photos

Phone markets the "amazing" zoom of the cameras on the phone, yet the design of the otterbox makes it hard to whip out and use the camera. Part of the protection needs to be removed in order to use the camera. It's a pita! You take it off and then have to hold it or put it somewhere and then attempt to get to camera. By that time you get the camera up and ready, you may have missed the moment. So, this annoying peice can be put on the back or front of phone. Either way, the camera of face of the phone will be open for damage if dropped. I believe just one part of the Otterbox is functional enough, that other part is just annoying. Maybe a functional covering for the cameras would be nice. Something you could easily pop off and have it hang down so you could quickly get that photo. I still think that Otterbox provides the toughest protection, but this one must have been tricky. Thanks.
