She has a habit of not taking care of her iPad. So I bought the best cover available and so for it has worked great.

I didn’t expect the hard shell cover to pop off completely. It’s great if I’m traveling, but around the house it offers little protection sitting on my desk.

While we appreciate your feedback on the price, we think the cost of the unit is well worth the high-caliber protection, outstanding customer service, and limited lifetime warranty that all come along with the product. As far as your charging issue goes, there should be a charging port door on the bottom of your Defender Series Pro case that you can pop open and closed to easily charge your device while keeping dirt and dust out when not in use.
