    not a good case. The side holder for the Apple pencil is hard flimsy plastic that falls off easy exposing the side. The older version had this but was made by rubber and stayed in place protecting the IPAD. There is no screen protection so you have to spend even more money unless you want to risk your screen getting scratched. for the sides not made of plastic it's a good case. Get the older version if possible.

    This case isn’t worth the money in my opinion and I normally like Otter Box brand. The spot that holds the Stylus broke off easily.

    I tried on numerous occasions to try to get the thing on. I've tried numerous times. I guess I'll take it to BestBuy, but they said it would cost $15 to install it. I don't think it should be that difficult. I had another one - to be fair BB installed it, for free, Also, the new ones no longer have protection on the front

    No screen protection and stand doesn’t fit correct

    Case is similar to my old one for my iPad 7Gen but it didn’t come with screen protection and concerns me alittle also doesn’t fit into the stand like the other one. I’ve used otter box literally my whole life when it came to protecting my devices but seams like it’s starting to decline

    Just say no, they’re made in Mexico, not reliable, unstable rubber on the back. Extremely bulky, the stand keeps snaps, won’t staying on stable.

    Otterbox not the same on the Case

    Otterbox case use to be very good opening and closing the outer cover. With the new design is difficult to open once closed. The Apple pencil feels loose inside the case and ofter falls out of the bracket on the inner case.

    For $90, the absence of installation instructions is unacceptable. This is a case for an Apple product and Apple buyers are used to a premium experience--at the very least, a QR code that takes me to a Youtube video! I only bought this because the best case company (Rokform) doesn't make iPad cases and will surely be my last Otterbox purchase. After about 20 minutes of searching online, I was able to glean OB's design philosophy and figure things out for myself (this is a new model and there are no videos yet, evidently), however the "case" creaks and pops as I hold the iPad, so it's probably not attached correctly. This could prove to be a VERY expensive experiment...

    I ordered the wrong size and was APPALLED with the short window of time to exchange for the correct size. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN WITH SUCH A RIDICULOUS 15 DAY RETURN POLICY!!!

    It seems sturdy, but taking the cover off is so difficult I rarely use it. Only for storage. Also the stand is not practical for holding the tablet up for reading. It only has one setting and it’s quite low. If I’d known that I would not have bought it. I’m only keeping it because of the inconvenience of returning it. Definitely not recommended.

The shield should work as a hands-free multi-position stand for comfortable viewing and use. The piece within the shield can be adjusted to prop your device up into the angle you prefer.     Clunky and unbalanced. The sales associate recommended this because it would stand up and protect my iPad. Not only was difficult to apply, it lacked the protective screen shown in the video. Worse, it could not secure the iPad in an upright position. I expected better from this brand.

Our engineers removed the built-in screen protector from our Defender Series case to ensure complete functionality with the newest devices. The Defender Series case was redesigned in order to provide the same drop protection even without the built-in screen protector. The addition of the Alpha Glass/Amplify/Alpha Flex provides your phone with premium protection and outperforms our previous Defender Series designs.
