I personally do not use the hard top shell that comes with this case. The case lasts a good 2 years of everyday heavy use before the plug tab wears out. Or the pen hinge becomes loose. 100% will buy again .

One broke within a couple of months. It still “fit” but was aggravating. A second one broke later.

Great durable case without being too bulky

I love them for the iPad as it has a great grip for holding with one hand and using your other hand for tapping the screen. If I were to drop it it would be safe and secure.
