When I got my new iPad Pro 12.9 I absolutely had to get the same level of protection. It is well engineered and does the job.

Is it pretty ? What it lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up in durable protection .

I had one on an iPad Mini, forgot it on the top of my car and the iPad flew off had hit the road at 45 mph. No damage to the iPad

Otter “Open” Box

Latch on the side of the case wouldn’t stay latched, and came off easily. Can’t find it now.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases.
