Is it pretty ? What it lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up in durable protection .

The Defender Series iPad cases do indeed feature the built-in screen protector option. Otter “Open” Box

Latch on the side of the case wouldn’t stay latched, and came off easily. Can’t find it now.

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases.
