They came off b/c the lid is so difficult to get off it broke under pressure. I had to replace it after a less than 2 yrs.

Strong but closing latch

It is not the latch system as other ones So far no issues but I predict for that latch to loosen and not work . It may or may not but I have that gut feeling about it
