I did not know this and do not like this type of design so I would say that if you're just using the case it is definitely built very well.

It came in a box that was really beat up with parts all over everywhere. We tried to get it mounted on the iPad. We really struggled and had no directions. We watched You Tube videos to help. Really not much help. Finally got it on; but the turn on button did not work. I figured why this was in such poor condition; someone else had it and it was defective. Returned it to the local store.

Especially if you plan to put a sticker on the back and have it held Buy a tripod or Wheelchair. The sticker inside is not strong enough and it just falls toward you on the rubber housing… Aside from that… It’s OK it’s pretty thin (without the front cover) and will definitely help your device survive!

It even has a little slot to store your Apple Pencil and a slot to charge it while keeping the case on. Get this case, unless you want something else.
