While it was a little tricky to figure out how to get the thing on my iPad, and I couldn't really find instructions anywhere, I did get it figured out with the help of a YouTube video and it fits perfectly. It does make the tablet heavier and bulkier of course, but I feel very confident in how secure it in inside its OtterBox armor. But because I consider it to be a little excessively bulky, and because of how difficult it is to finagle the charging port cover when you're trying to charge, I felt like it really only deserved 4 stars. Minor issues though and I would still recommend this case to people.

Love this Ipad case, it's on the heavy side, but it protects my ipad nicely. Also love the built-in stand that I can use two different ways, either standing straight up to watch movies or laying down more at an angle. When I get a new ipad in the future, I will definitely be buying another one of these.

The built-in stand is very convenient for watching videos and typing, Overall, the OtterBox case is an excellent investment for anyone looking to protect their iPad Pro 12. I highly recommend it!

It's a great protective case. I bought it thinking I could use it for A/V production. It works, but it's very bulky. The Apple pencil port is annoying to open, and you can't leave the Apple pencil charging while on your backpack as you may break the case port. It does not come with a built-in screen protector, per the Images posted on the site.

Loved this for my iPad Pro. It fit well and protected the iPads screen as well. I just wish it had a glass screen protector instead of none attached to it. You can also add a screen protector if you want.

Bulky but strong. Cover is great for carrying around. Takes some force to take it off, but solid. The stand is okay spending how you need to use it. Standing up not great, horizontal it’s good. I would get something else though for the money.

Doesn’t have a screen cover, however fits perfectly fine with a tempered glass one. Raised edges for screen protection. Easy access to side where apple pencil goes.

This case is indestructible and protects my iPad 12 Pro from from almost any situation it may encounter. Comes with a built in stand which also acts as a screen cover when transporting or packing it. If you have a defender case on your iPhone it installs and is constructed in the exact same design. It actually makes it feel more substantial in your hands which I prefer. If you want the smallest iPad case available this may not be for you. But when you are protecting a $1,400 investment it’s second to none.

This is the second one I have bought. I had to replace the first one after five years because the stand broke. I use it regularly and have no complaints with it. The price came down significantly. Would definitely recommend for the portal coverage.

Good drop protection, fits perfectly, no screen protection, opening for Apple Pencil to attach and charge.

I've always liked the protection i get from an otter box case. Thats all I've used for any phone i have had. And now i get the same protection for my iPad and i feel confident that it would save it from a fall. Nice sturdy covering. It does make it a little bulky but not too bad. Compared to the more thinner covers thay flap around the IPad i feel that this would give you the most protection.

It fits nicely on the ipad pro, looks pretty sleak. provides pretty good protection for the ipad. great for protecting the investment on ipad pro. buttons work good in this case. love Otterbox.

The case is made out of very hard plastic and has a rubber outer layer. The cover lid also doubles as a base stand for the Ipad to sit it and work or watch movies hands-free. This case does not have a screen protector built in so that will need to be purchased separately if you want your screen protected while the case cover is not being used.

Solid case for the biggest iPad I've ever had. 100% protection.

This OtterBox product makes the iPad a little heavy. However, I needed a cover to protect my iPad that did not use magnets. I also liked the fact that it did not come with the screen protector like other OtterBox products have.

I believe that the OtterBox defender case gives excellent protection but it is a bit heavy and bulky. If you're going to take your device camping, hiking, or have a lot of kids in this case might be for you. I brought this case back in after my wife said it was too heavy and the Apple Pencil door was made of flimsy plastic that bent easy, even detached. I'm sure that that little door is something that can be removed if you don't want it on the defender, but then they would remove one layer protection on that side when you're not using, charging the pencil.

Best iPad case for protection and comes with optional stand/protective case when you take it on the go. Not the best if you want to use the Magic Keyboard but I personally like having a wireless keyboard and mouse at home and then just use the Apple Pencil away from home.

Top quality build to protect your iPad from fall damage. Thick rubber on the surrounding with extra hard plastic help absorb all the shock from dropping. The extra thickness also add extra weight to you iPad however.

With this case, I don't have to worry about my ipad breaking when I drop it. it's honestly a bit heavy when its all together but its something that you get use to it. I dropped it a couple of times already in the car and bedroom but the case just took it better than expected.
