We went back to Bestbuy and the tech was able to put it on very easily. "I couls have done it, if I had read the instructions!) Duh to me! Great case!

The Defender Series iPad cases do indeed feature the built-in screen protector option. I use it for estimates and for clients to sign documents. Only issue i think will be the door cover for the pen to charge. Only had if for a month now.

Case is not meant to be removed from tablet once inserted

It has a slot for the apple pen as well. the pen slot wont keep the pen from falling out but is more to be used when the tablet is at rest like on a desk.
