Other reviewers are right... the quality of the product has slipped a bit since the last time (2015) that I needed to buy an OtterBox Defender. With my product, I need to repeatedly reattach the rubberized backing to the hard plastic edging. Manually having to reattach the pieces is a bit annoying... but I'm ok with being a little annoyed if it saves my iPad from another one of my clumsy episodes when knock my device off a chair arm or table top...

Love my new case. It is ridged enough to prop my iPad on the pillows on my lap when I sit in my chair. Easy to use and protects my iPad.

The otterbox defender is the best case to protect the ipad but I couldn’t use the multi-port adapter with the case on. If you want to use a usb external drive this case will not work.

You can always trust an otterbox to protect your product. I’ve been using otterbox for all my apple products for many years with no disappointment, and this case was no different!

It’s a really strong case for when ever your kids drop there table this will help them by not breaking the table. I really like this brand otter box it’s just one of my fave brands.

I love this product it still looks new from when I bought it and it has protection like no other.

Love it! Yes...it will add some weight to your iPad, but it feels solid. Had to google how to put it on since the directions weren't too detailed, but I figured it out and love it!

Good protection, good feel, and the cover comes in handy for watching shows/movies and extra protection during transportation. The only things I would change is the side tab that locks the gasket in place is a tiny bit flimsy and opens unintentionally.

Best defense against daily wear. It is a bit cumbersome due to its size but well worth the extra spend to have peace of mind. I love this product.

This is a great case . It is a hard case and well build to keep your IPad safe . It Sets on your lap at a great height and it protects your front and back very well. There is a place for the pen to so you willn’t lose it ether.

If you want a protective case then this should be on your short list. Every Apple device I have ever had is wrapped in OtterBox as I do occasionally drop them and have never had one break.

Otterbox does it again with the case for the ipad pro. Its very clean looking while providing ample protection for my device. Its also very lightweight. It has a nifty spot for my Apple Pencil to charge.

Doesn’t last very long. The pencil holder breaks real easily. I brought a second one and didn’t last long at all. It does it job protecting the iPad Pro 12.

Love the protection that it brings. However, I do wish there was more rubber for grip on the case cover as it is EXTREMELY slippery

This is a very good OtterBox case! It will protect your iPad Pro with familiar OtterBox features. The cover is a nice feature because there is a kickstand inside the cover that you can use to prop up the iPad in two different positions one is more upright than the other. The more upright review is for movies and or if you want to connect an external keyboard or other devices to your iPad. The more flat view is if you wish to type directly on the iPad and have the angle be in a better position.

It is very durable so I feel my iPad is in great hands wherever I take it! It’s a bit bulky but I’d rather it be bulky than my worrying about it being damaged.

Otterbox is as always, the absolute best protection for my device. Used them forever and always been very happy with how well they work.

Great case. Unfortunately I cracked my case stand today. yet warranty will get it repaired/replaced tomorrow so I highly recommend for impact safety for your iPads.

I have used OtterBox products for years now, and have liked all of them. The quality of the materials felt less sturdy than previous products. While I consider myself pretty handy with these devices, I admittedly couldn't even remove the top piece to get the iPad in. There were no instructions, I didn't find it intuitive, and was afraid to break it trying to figure it out myself. That led me to look up YouTube videos of how to do it, and reached frustration point #2. Their versions of the same product had a screen and didn't look like the version I had, which made me wonder if I had missing pieces. The packaging was sealed so I didn't think so, but theirs referenced a screen cover as well as a rubberized outside, and I had neither. Ultimately, it wasn't worth pursuing, because the 3rd and breaker for me was the fact that this is a 2-piece protective front and back cover, so it's covered on both sides, but lack any kind of stand functionality. You just snap off the cover and then use it with no easel-type functionality. Had I known this, I wouldn't have bought it, but since it was sealed, I couldn't open it to inspect. All in all, I found it pricey, didn't meet my needs, and wasn't the same quality as previous OtterBox products, so my experience wasn't great. I could see this for someone who worked outdoors and needed rugged protection as a sacrifice for convenience, but this one wasn't a fit for me. I still like OtterBox and would buy other products, just not this one.
