Good protection - Not compatible with MagSafe.

This case also will not work with MagSafe chargers. I had purchased a MagSafe charger for this phone but it is extremely difficult to use the charger with this case. It is almost like you need doctor's hands to make it work. If you want a case that will protect well this is for you. If you want to use a MagSafe, then you may want to consider a Mous Limitless 3.0!

We're sorry to hear that you're not loving your Defender Series Pro case! While that case is compatible with Qi charging pads, it is not designed for optimal functionality with MagSafe accessories. Keep in mind, this case will perform best with OtterBox branded wireless chargers. That being said, we have a sizeable lineup of OtterBox cases that we designed specifically to interact with Apple's MagSafe ecosystem and that have been through our full gauntlet of tests to ensure they will still offer the protection OtterBox is known for.

Love it and the back gives the camera lenses enough space for you to add a camera lens cover, not something you could do with the Commuter version. About the only thing that is a bit concerning is that the front protection has been compromised with this new leaner Defender. The top and bottom are raised a bit more than the sides as a compromise but not sure if you were to drop it that it would be enough protection for the screen; definitely recommend a screen cover/shield for a little bit of front drop protection insurance. The wireless charging works great too just won’t magnetize with an Apple wireless charger well. Overall it’s great buy and I would recommend it over the Commuter version because it’s almost as slim but has that better protection. And if you are planning on getting a shield protector for the back camera lenses, absolutely get this over the Commuter it will protect the camera lenses and the shield cover 100%! Just like others say I wish Otterbox made more color variations of this cover.

I had to call Customer Service and they were extremely helpful and sent me a replacement. It was attached to my iPhone 12 very easily. I'm well satisfied with this product. My daughter has been using it for years and she is very pleased with it too. I bought it based on her recommendation.

Otterbox for I Phone 12

A little disappointed that the current version doesn't come with it's own glass or plastic protector and you have to spend additional funds to get a protector for the I Phone 12 version. Foe a company that has a reputation for such a high quality product it feels like I am being gouged a little just to make a few more bucks. Still like the product but may start reviewing other alternatives down the road.

If you are looking for an iPhone case that is rugged and not bulky, this is the one to get. I like how it doesn't have the screen protector, as previous ones I owned for older iPhones collected dust.

This case made sacrifices to reduce weight and also acknowledge that it just isn’t possible to provide full protection to a Pro with a camera that size. I think a lot of reviewers are ignoring that. I think it’s a good trade since the phone itself is quite heavy. The case also fits in a pocket much easier than prior defender cases.
