I purchased a couple of Apple iPhone 12's and for the first time, I didn't buy the additional insurance. I did this for two reasons - One is that I'm working from home and will not be traveling for the foreseeable future, and two, the insurance would cost more per month that the phone. I've always had great luck with Otterbox Defender cases, and the fact that these new cases are slightly smaller and lower profile is a bonus. My wife had dropped her last phone several times and the 'ol Otterbox kept the phone in great condition. Actually, the Otterbox case developed a small crack, and Otterbox replaced it - no questions asked. A good case is probably the cheapest insurance that you can buy!

Love this case. I was afraid of missing the front screen protector as I have been a long time Defender user, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not needed and made a huge difference on screen clarity. Glass screen protector is a must!

Good product for the phone holds up good when phone is dropped

The best iphone case ever I would say. It kind of makes the iphone look bulky but once you have it you can stop worrying about any accidental falls or dropping of Iphone. I’m using the defender series for all my apple handheld products since 2018.

Case is everything I wanted. It’s sleek to stay true to the slim profile of phone. Protects my phone while staying slim. The belt clip is great for work.

Otterbox Defender has been my case of choice for several phones over the years. The new one on my iPhone 12 is slimmer and more compact comparatively, but seems to be as effective. It’s not as rubbery, so it slides into and out of my pocket more easily. The literature says that it is infused with silver to make it antimicrobial. There’s no visual evidence of that, but it sounds hopeful in these COVID-19 days. The glass cover that I added is also antimicrobial. My only small contention is that the Otterbox is black, the only color available at the time of purchase, and it’s hard to see on many surfaces. Now that it’s protected, I don’t want to leave it somewhere!

The Defender is the perfect name for this I phone cover! I can't count all the times I have dropped my phone and it has never been damaged!

I had my last phone in an Otter Box Defender and it protected my phone since the I-Phone 7Plus came out. When I traded in my 7Plus for the I-Phone 12Pro, I got top dollar trade-in as it was in pristine condition when the Otter Box was removed! Well worth every penny I paid for the 7Plus and now the Otter Box for the 12Pro!!!! This particular Otter Box is easy to grip too!!!!

I have been getting otterbox pro defender cases for my last six phones. I need the holster and over the years I have dropped phones in parking lots, streets and hardwood floor with no damages. When I upgrade a phone this cover is my next purchase

Third iPhone and third otter box. Highly recommended. This case keeps my iPhones protected from drops. My iPhone 6 and iPhone X still looks brand new after many drops. My iPhone 12 Pro has this case and it’s thinner than the previous version.

The Defender is the best cases for any iPhone. I’ve had this model on all my my previous and now current iPhone 12. I will never buy a different cases to protect my phones. I have never had a repair or cracked screen! Thank you Otterbox!!!

I highly recommend the otter box because it will keep my iPhone safer. When you pay a lot for a phone, it is well worth the money. Easy to put on your phone. Otter box had the best quality over the other cases in my opinion.

Having had multiple defender cases over the years (my last iPhone was an X) this one is very thin. Surprisingly thin. I’ve accidentally dropped my phone a couple time (missed my pocket) and it hit the ground without a scratch. Very impressed.

Usual Otterbox Quality! My wife is rough on phones, so whenever we upgrade, we purchase an Otterbox Defender before we leave the store. I just wish they were a little less expensive!

Decent case hate there is no built in screen protection, protects phone well.

I've used Otterbox Defender cases for years and they've always done a great job of protecting my phone. So far, so good with this case on the iPhone 12 Pro, but its only been a couple of weeks. Despite being the Defender case like I had on my XR, this case seems thinner and lighter. I'm hoping that doesn't relate to less protection than the older cases, but only time will tell.

It is not as pliable or thick as previous editions, but it does a very good job. One thing missing in this version would be the plastic screen protection that was built in. In all honesty, I didn't use the provided screen protector as it had an unresponsive feel to it. The solution was to remove the screen protector and use a glass protector.
