Having had multiple defender cases over the years (my last iPhone was an X) this one is very thin. Surprisingly thin. I’ve accidentally dropped my phone a couple time (missed my pocket) and it hit the ground without a scratch. Very impressed.

It is not as pliable or thick as previous editions, but it does a very good job. One thing missing in this version would be the plastic screen protection that was built in. In all honesty, I didn't use the provided screen protector as it had an unresponsive feel to it. The solution was to remove the screen protector and use a glass protector.

Decent case hate there is no built in screen protection, protects phone well.

Usual Otterbox Quality! My wife is rough on phones, so whenever we upgrade, we purchase an Otterbox Defender before we leave the store. I just wish they were a little less expensive!

Covers my phone and protects is from the stupid stuff I do when out and about.

Defender has saved my phone from damage dozens of times!

I've used Otterbox Defender cases for years and they've always done a great job of protecting my phone. So far, so good with this case on the iPhone 12 Pro, but its only been a couple of weeks. Despite being the Defender case like I had on my XR, this case seems thinner and lighter. I'm hoping that doesn't relate to less protection than the older cases, but only time will tell.

Case worked great. Even after the front piece broke it still kept my phone safe. I work in a factory with a ton of dust dirty and powder my phone was always clean.

Great phone case. I just upgraded my iPhone and had to get another one of these cases. The last one protected my iPhone 6 for the last 5+ years. Never had a problem with the phone and knew this was the right call for my iPhone 12.

Sting case but sleek design. Doesn’t add a lot of bulk.

It is definitely expensive, but with otterbox you pay for what you get; these cases will keep your phone in good condition if you drop it a lot like me.

Otter ox is still the best in my opinion. This case is no different. Best protection for my iPhone.

I have been using them for years. Always great protection if you're some who drops phones a lot. Keep in mind your screen is not covered by the case when purchasing though.

I’ve used the Otterbox Defender series for several years and they have protected all of my iPhones flawlessly. The current model for 12 Pros is thinner than previous versions but hopefully offers the same outstanding protection.

I originally bought the Otterbox Defender when I had the iPhone xr and it worked great. So I had to get it again to protect my iPhone 12. Worth the price instead of having to buy phone insurance.
