Now its only half the case for twice as much money. It doesn't even come with a front cover, I have to buy a separate glass protector, which breaks repeatedly. It does not protect the phone nearly as well. I could throw the old otter box at the wall & not worry about my phone, now I worry if it slips off the couch onto carpet. A significant decline in quality. Just get the apple care & let the phone break, it would be cheaper that way.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my classic test of chunking the phone at the wall a few times to see if it worked, phone case seems fine but my grumpy neighbor Gilly complained to the homeowners association about my racket so that’s the only drawback, great phone case just make sure you don’t have bad neighbors before wall testing it at night.

Didn't work with Apple's wireless MagSafe charger

However in my case it did not work with Apple's Wireless Magsafe Charger. It does work with some other wireless chargers but that should be stated in the product literature. I've gone back to my old worn-out Apple case.

Posted .Hello! We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. The Defender and Defender Pro Series case are compatible with wireless charging, but do not contain magnets in the case. Therefore, they will not adhere or "snap" to MagSafe charging stands and accessories. Should one be looking for a case with the rugged protection of the Defender, but also with MagSafe (magnets in the case) the Defender XT is an excellent option to consider! Can never go wrong with otter box

As always, no matter how many cases I try I always end up going back to an otter box! I had the Apple silicone case but I dropped it so much being the case was so smooth (not all a bad thing) and broke two screen protectors. Came back to otter box and BAM phone is safe and sound!
