Repurchasing after 3 years - Definitely recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this case for 3 years now and my iPhone 12 still looks brand new despite me dropping it outside several times. I can’t find any scratches. With past phones I had to replace shattered or messed up screen protectors, but with this case I’m still using the first one I applied. That’s how protective it is. It’s gone through normal wear and tear, so I’ve ordered a replacement. For example, the inner frame no longer fully locks together and is instead held together by the soft outer shell (which is becoming a bit warped/stretched itself). There are also now some chips and slivers of plastic falling off of the inner frame here and there. I didn’t dock stars for this because I think that’s normal given it’s the only case I’ve been using for 3 years straight and I’ve dropped it on concrete and asphalt plenty of times. The port and mute button covers did fall off a long time ago though, if that’s important to you. I don’t think I was particularly rough with them. Those weren’t super important features to me personally, and it doesn’t look too weird without them.

Just what I needed

The store rep said they didnt have any iphone 12 cases, but pointed me in the direction of where they would be if they had any...lo and behold! They had one!! I dont expect the reps to know all the inventory available, but don't say you do not have something if you arent sure.

My only advice to those who want to purchase: don’t make my mistake, follow the directions of putting pieces on one at a time. Don’t put them on at once together. That was a dumb thing I did. So don’t do that. Put the squishy part (the actual case) on first, not at the same time as the hard clip on part. :)

Had question on belt clip. It clips on to the back and can be used or not used. Ended not using it. It is very compact, fits well into shirt pocket. Highly recommend the defender pro case!

Best Defender case ever

This newest version is slimmer on the sides than previous versions which makes it look and feel much much less bulkier than previous versions. You still get that great grip which keeps it from slipping out of your hands. Feels solid and protective like previous versions. Also, I have no problem charging on two different wireless chargers, one being a Samsung stand up charger and the other an off brand lay down charger from Amazon. I would say if you're on the fence about this case, go for it. If you've had Defender cases in the past or first time buyer, you won't be disappointed.
