I purchased planning on using with case while it doesn't interfere with my personal case it may with yours so be sure to double check. Setup was simple enough just take your time as you just place directly over without any guiding template.

Definitely not good for protection against scuffs and scratches due to dirt et cetera That gets In between the phone and the case causing major wear and tear.

Although the design does not provide a complete seal, the case should be able to fend off a great deal of this sort of thing, depending on the conditions it's exposed to, of course.
