The Otterbox Defender does a great job protecting the phone including the glass. I put them on our techs that climb on and under large equipment to work on and the phone is protected. It doesn't claim to do so but it also seems to help when its raining or their is water that gets on the case. Plus there is a holder that you can put on your belt to carry your phone.

Bought one for an iPad, now this one for iPhone. Solid, comfortable grip, great protection, no fears.

We buy Otter Box defenders for all our phones and with five of us in the family no one has broken a screen yet. We may have replace one or two screen protectors but that is what they are for. Otter box meets my family needs and protects these super expensive iphones.

Stop, everyone that owns an iPhone should invest in an OtterBox, screen protector built in and protection for your phone from top to bottom built in. My last OtterBox case lasted 8 years, I have dropped my phone over 50 x in the last 8 years and never damaged my phone. When I purchased my latest iphone SE this was my first purchase. The case is a beast, it has a strong skeleton and the exterior rubber also absorbs plenty of energy upon falling. The built in screen protector is also amazing! The one problem is that sometimes if it is rainy a drop water can get in-between the screen-protector and the screen and make the screen look funny, but that dries reasonably quickly.

Owner of the second defender case. Very durable. Use it in construction every day. Previous case lasted me 5 years. It was still good except screen of it got little scratched up from everyday use and my button for finger print access cover deteriorated (still useful for accessing the phone but no protection from dust and etc.) Dropped my phone several times no damages. Will recommend for any I phone. My is iPhone 7.

I had this same brand and type case for my I-Phone 6. So I wanted the same one for my I-Phone 8. I am a klutz and If I drop my phone it is fully protected. I also like that you can clip it on your jeans or belt. The best case by far an an intelligent purchase.

Well made and durable product. I carry my phone through the belt loop. Other phone cases are not as well built and the spring loaded part of the case that opens and closes to attach to belt do not open far enough to remove phone from belt especially when sitting down making it extremely difficult and frustrating to remove from belt. Otter is the best.
