Never thought I needed something like this until I dropped my phone recently. I could have prevented a cracked screen! I dropped it once since I bought the OtterBox and no issues!

Only thing I wish they'd fix is the screen protector gap. Sometimes moisture will seep in and mess with touch id, but easily remedied with a cleaning

It adds some bulk to the phone which makes it easier to manage a smaller phone and provides a good grip. It is a little hard to open hence the 4 stars I gave it on ease of use but otherwise I would recommend

It saves having the expense of having to insure phone. I really like the color too although there weren’t many choices that fit the second generation iPhone.
